$10,000
So I am 4 months and 13 days post op. I would like to say a few things I never thought these things would happen to me. Well I have been weak, no energy, Had a small appetite but more for sweets : ( I havent been motivated to work out at all!!! Now that my swelling is finally starting to go down a little... I have gained about 7 lbs : ( Which makes everything else even more depressing. I am not going to stay down on myself... I am going to move on and get fit and feel alot better. I just wanted to be REAL ON HERE cause this is Realself.com not fakeself.com. real true stories from me all the way. also I would like to ask a question. Would you perfer a itsy bitsy belly button over a abnormally large one. Any one belly botton itch all the time... but it feels like the itch is on the inside and you can't get it?? my bb to me is small and many friends and family that I have shown in person have said oh my gosh your belly button is soo tiny!! Its smaller than my two daughters.. asked doc about it he says when the swelling goes down I will have the same dimpling affect that I had in my previous belly... innie they call it. anyone have this same situation?? Okay well Either way if it stayed the way it is now I really wouldnt care casue my main concern was getting rid of the twin skin. I am happy with my results that my doctor has provided me with.. I am just disappointed with myself for not being able to follow thru yet with the rest of the plan working out ... eating right.... have alot of other health problems that have come my way.... not relating to the tt surgery.... but they havent helped only have made it alot harder to get motivated. I have a week and a half left of this medication.. thats got me down in the slums.. so should be feeling better once off of it. Oh an one last thing my kids have been on this roll of messing up the house... They move soo much faster than I do these days. What I would give for my old energy I had before the surgery back!!

Your new pics are fab. Your scar is hardly there in certain spots. Glad you are healing well
Thank you... I know wish the rest would heal all at the same time but ..thats the way the body heals I guess... do you have any problems with ingrown hairs?? I have and my docs office has provided me with lazer hair removal. which has helped so much.
I have had the odd in grown hair but nothing major. I never thought of laser hair removal - might look into it
You should I wouldnt of thought of it either but they offered it to me... huge difference. Ive had two treatment so far.... getting total 6.
dumb question after we have been through but is it painful.
yes Lazer hair removal is painful!!! It feels like your being snapped by a rubber band not too painful though just in certain places where there is more hair. I got it done in my upper pubic area and along my incision line.. also my upper lip on my face I think it hurts more on my lip. feels like a beam is shooting into my gums. But with any of the jolts from the lazer pain quicly goes away its just a burst of pain lasting on a second. Some people describe it as a warmness.
Stay positive juju. I know it's hard, and believe me...you're not alone. I have no motivation right now either. I want instant results, but do to have the energy to put forth. We will get there. The hard parts over now, right? You can do it!!

You can also use arnica pill form I used both : )...

You can also use arnica pill form I used both : ) The pill form is nice to use right away. Now the gel helps soothe with massage. Below is my identical list of things I bought prior to my surgery. The items that I ended up not using... SPECIAL K PROTIEN SHAKES reason too much sodium!!!! I still actually have the shakes in my cupboard because even at 2 months out I cannot have too much sodium it makes you swell. The other snack I ended up not finishing and I would tell u to not even think about it is the FIBER ONE BARS they give you gas pains!!! Only slept in my recliner the first week ... but others may need longer I just wanted my bed back but still slept in the recliner position. The special K pastries apple cinnamon were a life saver in the middle of the night when you couldn't get up to get something on your stomach to take your pain pill. You can have those right by your little nightstand filled with snacks. I did eat soup the first day after the nausea wore off but I wouldn't recommend weeks after surgery because of all the sodium and swelling. Saltines crackers are life savers to for the middle of the night or for nausea or un salted. You will deffinatley need a zip up something for the day of surgery but I am sure the doc gave you all that info already. Yay I am excited for you!!! oh and i mentioned protroleum jelly you won't need that at all doc recommends bacetracin ointment. you can find in any over the counter walmart has it cheap!! I used maxi pads to cover my incision... way cheaper than gauze pads more bang for your buck!! can't wait to see your results!! also dial soap for after care it is an antibacterial body wash.

MY LIST : Bromalain
Arnica Montana pill
Arnica ointment
Hibiclens
ANtibacterial Soap dial
Two Bottles of Hand sanatiser
Latex gloves
Bacetracin
Q tips
Maxi Pads for incision ( in place of Medical pads)
two hot and or cold Ice packs ( Baggy of ice worked better)
Heating pad
Lotion for hands
Purfume for freshness have your makeup close by
mirror
clean scissors
Flushable wipes for freshness
Rubbing alcohol
clorox wipes to wipe down containers and bottles (everything!!!!)

Hydrogen peroxide
multi vitamin
Got a few Valour zip up sweat suits
a few comfy yoga pants
recliner I decided to rent for 150 for a month
some get a shower chair and toilette riser
I hear the toilette riser for if your tall but if your short you dont really need ..I didnt and I am short...others say a shower chair I was convinced one girl had mentioned a out door plastic chair instead of shower chair she said she washed ..but I purchased brand new and never ended up using... but then again I didnt have drains ( no drain tummy tuck procedure)
FIber One bars ( Dont use they give you gas pains)Special K cinnamin pastry crisps ( to die for)
gauze tape and gauze I used the gauze to spread hydrogen peroxide as well as the bacetrain.
cotton balls shed and get stuck in the stitches
crackers
fruits
veggies
pudding
Organic apple sauce
Special K protein Shakes ( never used too much sodium) Frozen fruit for smoothies
Lots of water
Cup with straw for my water
Some type of snack you can eat in the middle of the night so you can wake and take you pain pill with something on your stomach without having to get up and be in all that pain.
Ib profin after the first week I believe
tylenol
cough drops help from the tube as well as preventing you from coughing and being in a heep of pain
antacid (tums)
stool softners
some people use laxitives I used activia yogurt to help with the constipation from the pain pills
tucks pads for your incision to help reduce puckering if you end up with puckering of the incision. or just to soothe once closed of course.
