Six weeks post op
It's been six weeks and I'm simply loving the new me. I feel great, exercising 3-5 days a week and feeling wonderful. I must say it's a great feeling to wear a bikini and look sensational in my clothes. I can now wear a large in some shirts now and a 12 in capris and shorts in opposed to a 1x or 16w. So far I dropped 4 sizes and I still have swelling so before its all over, I'll perhaps be smaller. I love the new me guys! I enjoy looking in the mirror, it's a pleasure now!!! Well ill continue to update. Take care everyone!!

I am scheduled for July 18th I am very nervous , and excited.WHAT WAS THE WORST OF THE SURGERY?
I just had mine done 2 weeks ago...the worst part of the surgery for me was the drains....I had minimal pain at the incision site but my hips where the drains were (mine came out after a week) feel bruised. I have been taking Motrin for pain as needed...so the pain isn't bad.
I originally was going to use Dr Basner but was VERY UNHAPPY with his fee schedule... my insurance was to pay for my surgery so why woyld I still be out nearly $8000 out of pocket....
went to another local doctor and paid my $150 co-pay and am done
Looking beautiful! Love the purple skirt-set!
Thankyou!!!
You're welcome
Hi you look great, I'm set set to have my surgery on Oct 23,2013 in Sugarland, Texas, I was wondering so in the six weeks how much weight did you lose. lookingtobehappy.
Well I really wasn't weighing myself but I could wear my clothes that no longer fit and everything fit so much better. It was the small things I was excited about like wearing bikinis and I could tuck my shirts in. Now I'm in a 12 and can fit some 14's because of my hips. I look and feel great. Please feel free to ask questions as I'll be more than happy to assist you. It's the best investment of my life.
Thank you I will keep in touch with you, I have about 5 weeks maybe I can get some inches off.
You definitely will. Take care.
I'm scheduled for November 17th. How long was your actual recovery? I plan on being off from work 3 weeks. Would you consider that enough time?
Hi you look great!!!! I'm set to have my surgery next month, I was wondering in the total six weeks including the surgery how much weight would you say you lost?

Two weeks post op
It's been two weeks since my surgery, still feeling pretty good, a little painful at times but what can I say when I look in the mirror, it's totally worth every stitch of pain. I'm just going through the healing process now...No more doctors appointments until next month. Still wearing my undergarment and now waiting for the arrival of my oleeva fabric which soothes my skin of scarring which I'll be wearing for the next 3-6 months. Oh yeah, I can start exercising this week, just walking for now. Well guys thats about it for now. Hope everyone is doing well. Until next time, take care.
