5 days post-op and am so happy I found the courage to do this for me! For years I have had loose skin, stretch marks and a hysterectomy scar.

12 days post-op and happy! Stitches come out today. I wore my jeans for a few hours yesterday and no "hang-over"! Now, if i can just get the lipo tenderness & bruises to get better...

I decided to take some pics in the morning when things are less swollen just to see if I could see a difference. Let me know what you ladies think?
I'm not liking how my belly button is looking...so I stuffed some rolled up gauze inside it today hoping I can stretch it. It's looking all closed up.

3/24, I really didn't discuss the location of my incision with my ps. But, one of my biggest concerns was to get as much lift as possible in my thighs with the tt. So, I am thinking that may be the reason it's higher.
The incision location not a big deal to me because I don't wear low-cut jeans and have never worn a bikini...although I could wear a two piece now if I wanted to! :)

You probably will want to discuss that with your doc beforehand if you want a really low scar!

I thought the scar was high too...but I know that his scars heal well where you can barely see them. I had a breast aug and mini tuck a few years back from him and you can;t even see the scars from either.

Hey 3boys...thanks, I need all the encouragement I can get.

The only gripe I have is that on my upper thighs where the lipo was done. I have just recently noticed some rippling developing there. I hope it is just some swelling that hasn't settled. Ugh!

I am starting back to work tomorrow on a new job.

I know you have told me a dozen times but when is your surgery?

Time4me I am glad I found someone else whom has noticed the ripple issue with lipo. I am only 12 days post op and I notice on my flanks and back were I had lipo I see ripples clearly!! I mean on the flank its noticeable now, but the back I happen to notice after feeling them on my sides. I am seeing my PS this week and I plan on asking about this. I am sure this in not the final result but I want to know what I can do to help. I message it now hoping that will work on my flank area but I cant do that to my back.

I also go back to work this week, but I still have 1 drain left in. :-( I am hoping to have to removed tomorrow.

Good Luck tomorrow with your new job!

I need to go back for my 6 wks follow-up soon and I will ask my doc about it too.

Your results are great i am post op seven days today get drains out on Friday still have not seen how i look except my ass and it is bruised from the lipo on my hips. So far it has not been so bad the first three days are the worse and when you have to walk around bent over your back will kill you. I wish you the best and happy for you.

I come to your review daily to see your results when I start get nervous about having it done! I can't wait to see your updated pics when you get a chance. Sorry to hear about your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you!

Thanks so much for the kind words of condolence. I posted a few more pics today. I need to try and take some first thing in the am...just to see if I look much different than later in the day!

Arnt you so very happy you did this.... I know I am and the nausea and vomiting and the pain is so worth it,... I am still having swelling but I am ecstatic about the results and you look wonderful as well.. I love to see everyones before and after pics to know that I am not the only one who has bruises down their legs etc...

so happy and pleased with my results.I am just past 6 wks now and i did heavy duty housecleaning today...hope I'm not too sore and swollen later.

You, btw, look awesome! I just went over and looked at your pics. Very big change for you!! Conrats. My daughter and I had our tt"s on the same day. She too, is a nurse, and went through the same fears as you. I told her not to tell me all the stuff she knows because I didn't want to know too much...I was already scared enough! :)

Yes, I had some lipo on my flanks and my "saddlebags" too!

I am holding up okay. It was my older brother. We miss him sorely but know that he is in a better place and we will all be together again one day!
Still haven't done the new pictures...
I have that on my very long list. :)
How are you holding up? I know your surgery is coming up quickly...excited for you!

too be honest, i am a mess.. confuse on it all.. if this is really the best thing to do, the money its so pricey to spend on just me. i feel selfish and if anything goes bad, whos going to raise my kids. i guess all kinds of crap in my head.
I am very sorry for your lost! you in my prays at night.
