I am a 44-year-old male and I have always been into my fitness and health, however, no matter how much I ran and no matter how much I lifted, I could never get rid of my lower abdominal fat or my love handles. I finally made the decision to have liposuction and...........so far, so good. You can see from my photos that I had really good immediate results. Right after that, I did begin to swell and noticed some lumpiness in some areas, however, these are starting to improve. I experienced very little bruising. I'm doing my best to have patience like my doctor has recommended. Everything that I have read and everything I have been told says that I have to wait six months for final results. Right now I am at two and a half weeks and I'm still quite pleased. It feels so good to reach down and touch my belly and notice that it feels firm rather than soft. I've been cleared to head back to the gym so I am making the most out of that as well in order to maximize my results. I will update this post as I progress. Please feel free to contact me with questions.

Almost 3 weeks post op

I wanted to post this update so others can see my progress and see that really significant results do take awhile to see. As I mentioned before, I'm trying to be patient. I have noticed that when I get up in the morning, my belly is flatter. In the afternoons, after I've eaten a couple of times and I've been active, the swelling is much more noticeable and that's when I feel discouraged. Again, I'm trying to be patient, trying to watch what I eat, and trying to get my butt to the gym. Still a ways to go before I'm satisfied but I'm confident that I'll obtain the belly I'm hoping for. More pics with an update in about a week.

One month post op

I continue to feel like I improve each day. My lower abdomen continues to have some lumpiness as well as swelling. You can see in the pictures that I have basically a ring of swelling around my lower abdomen. I've been assured that this is normal and that it will go down with time. I have noticed that the upper parts of my abdomen are beginning to show more definition which I'm really excited about. I've never been the most patient person. Just ask my wife.
