After several months since my consultation, my surgery day is almost here. I'm excited but very anxious as to what to expect afterwards. I'm a mother of two beautiful children ages 5 and 2, both born via cesarean. Since my babies I have totally been discouraged with my body almost every time I look in the mirror. I am so ready to feel good again in my clothes. My two pregnancies have left me with excess skin and a baby pooch to say the least, my breasts have also became deflated and saggy. I'm undergoing a full tummy-tuck with breast reduction. I'm new on here, but have enjoyed reading all the wonderful stories! Does anyone have any tips they would like to share that will I'd in my recovery?

Well I am one day post op, feeling extremely sore but my stomach is flat! I could not believe what I looked like with the garment off today at the doctors office! My husband says I look tiny:) oh and my boobs look so good!! For now I'm just taking it easy, and focusing on myself for once. I go back Monday to get my stitches removed and hopefully a drain. Best of luck to everyone on there journeys and again thanks for all the prayers.

I am now 4 days post op and I finally got to wash my hair!! I feel so much better, and tonight I finally get to shower. The worst part for me right now is the itching from all the padding and gauze. Other than that I can tell I'm standing up a little straighter and my pain is getting more bearable. I'm going back to the doctor on Monday to hopefully get my stitches removed and one of my drains.

Today is 7 days PO and I'm feeling great, finally feel like I'm getting my energy back and level headed. I haven't had to take my pain meds other than at night! I'm hoping Friday I will get my last drain removed and the remainder of my stitches. I can't wait for all my bruising and swelling to go away so I can see the final results! I'm super excited already about the results, I just can't wait to see it after the healing is complete:) I'm still having a hard time with eating, I can't seem to eat anything over a few bites and feel stuffed! I'm not really complaining because I would like to still loose 10 more pounds!! Hope everyone has happy healing!!

12 days PO, and I'm feeling great! I found out at my last doc appt that with my breast reduction my doctor removed almost 500 grams forms each breast which is equivalent to two pounds off my chest! I could not believe that:) I'm loving my new body and my boobs look amazing! Just can't wait for the swelling in my stomach to subside so I can see exactly what it will look like. Thanks again for all the kind words and prayers!!

Well I'm finally three weeks PO, and I'm feeling good. I still have not gained all of my energy back sin e before the surgery. Has anyone else had this problem? Also hoping the swelling goes down soon, I'm anxious to see my final results:)

Hi X-ray... I'm from the TT side. I noticed your user name. I assume you are an X-ray tech? I'm a sonographer. Are you mobile in a hospital? I'm curious because you say you were going back to work on the 18th. After two weeks... How did it go? I just don't know how much time to take off. I have to push this heavy machine all
over a huge hospital.... Two campuses.

No, I saw to purchase still softeners ahead of time and start those to help with all of that. I highly recommend purchasing those to help, because your pain mess will make u have a hard time.

Just remember that this is your time, don't be afraid to take this time for your self! I also found that having all of your things ready prior to getting home from your surgery seems to make transition at home much easier! Can't wait to hear how it goes, Good Luck:)
