I was recommended my surgeon from a colleague in...

I was recommended my surgeon from a colleague in the industry. This turned out to be the worse advice I ever took. I met my surgeon and it was all pretty rushed. First we discussed that I wanted more symmetry to my *slightly* asymmetrical breasts. I've made a review on my breasts, you can see from the photos there that it didn't go well.

Second to my breasts, I said i wanted a smaller nose and asked what he thought. This was discussed pretty briefly. I said I wanted the same existing shape just a bit smaller.. he agreed I could have less profile projection. The only things I stipulated in regards to the shape was that I was happy with the narrow shape from the front, and I didn't want it to scoop up in the profile view. He said this wouldn't be a problem. I booked to go ahead, and for the day of surgery I even photoshopped what I wanted him to do. He said he would use it as his guide, which can't possibly have happened.

Immediately after the big reveal (one week post op) I was incredibly upset with my new nose., But I was told it was swelling and I waited 18 months for the tip to settle and shrink. I requested and paid for a revision on the tip, which he promised would be made smaller and bought down. I also had breathing problems, he said that there was an obstruction created in my first surgery that was now blocking my air way. So he "cracked" this back to allow air to pass.

Now 2.5 years on from the first operation and the tip looks the same.. if not worse. My breathing is a little better, but not as clear as it used to be, I often just breathe through my mouth instead.. fairly gormless yes.

So after two disruptive and painful recoveries I am beyond disappointed. In hindsight my nose was fine, my breasts were fine.. I was in a very negative place in my head and the failures of all this surgery only pushed me to spiral into depression.

I'm now on the other side and having had my breast implants removed, I've just had non-surgical dermal fillers to fill out the over worked scoop of my nose (my positive review on this has been posted) and my nose now resembles my natural shnoz. Which is a huge relief to me.

TO CONCLUDE: I felt like I had someone else's nose on my face. THERE IS NOTHING WRONG IF YOUR NOSE NATURALLY SCOOPS UP!.. but this just wasn't me. I likely have Spanish, Jewish and Native American heritage.. a scooped in shape just didn't look right on me.

Suffice to say the last 2.5 years have been awful, and I now have future expenses on the horizon while I maintain correction of the shape non-surgically.
