If I was a writer, this could be very funny, but I am not, I am just an ordinary lady who enjoys life to the full.
My mind is bubbly, my body is taken care of by excercise (although I have wobbly bits)
And then there was my face. ..mm it started looking a bit sad, older than I felt, i needed elastic to keep it up! I had been looking at facial plastic surgery for a couple of years too numerous websites to mention . Where to start, I did not even know what I needed! All these procedures you could have, who was going to give me proper guidance ? I eventually found Dominic Bray's site and it so stood out from any other I stumbled across- it was packed with information, and real photographs of patients the day after, a week after and so on. How refreshing was this!
I went to see him for an initial chat and was not greeted by a man in a sterile white coat, or a suit, but a happy chap in shirt and trousers who spoke and behaved normal. OK, there were words he used to describe the exact process for which you would need a dictionary, but I actually knew most of them from the info on his website. How refreshing this was! I seriously started to consider putting my face into this man's hands- decision made, deposit paid, I had a few nights of oh my G..d , what Am I doing, but a quick look at the photos on his website put me totally at ease.
The big day came, I was sedated and fully aware of everything that was going on, and after 4 hours of being relaxed and pain free , it was over. I looked at my face and yes, it was swollen! Dominic came and changed the bandages that evening.
The next day, my ears and sides of my face was pretty sore. Throughout the weekend
Dominic was in touch to see how I was getting on. Day 2,3 and 4 were great considering of what I had done. Stitches came out on day 6 .
There, all done.
So, ladies and gents, I cannot praise Dominic and his staff enough for the way they take you through your personal journey. Professionalism, so much knowledge and care, and last but not least, a sense of humour!
