Not Worth It
Spent: $5,300 in Michigan
I had the procedure and initially there was a change but I attribute that to the swelling. Soon the jowl droop became visible and it looked no different then prior to surgery. NO ONE noticed any change! I waiting thinking it would take time It has been two years and the only area where my skin remains "tight" is by the ears. I spent money in good faith. Well, I've an upcoming appointment and they indicated I may need a touch up of sorts. I don't look forward to being cut again however, if they can guarantee an improvement, I will do it. In retrospect, I should have gone to a plastic surgeon. The procedure itself felt rather rushed. It wasn't pleasant as you could hear the cutting of skin, smell the burning flesh and feel the pressure when being stitched. I'd NOT recommend Lifestyle. You'd be far better off going to a plastic surgeon.

Don't go back for revision. I did and it lasted about 2 weeks and now I"m back to where I was before my 1st operation. I am saving for a real facelift.

tmk from Michigan, I recently went for the consult and put my deposit on the lift. It was after that that I found the RealSelf site to start reading comments. I decided to cancel since they promised I had the right. When I tried yesterday, I had the hardest time getting anyone on the phone. Finally, the consult woman called me back, and talked me into at least keeping the consult with the doctor next week, but she would cancel the surgery. She just didn't want to take no for an answer it seemed. I was almost ready to tell them they can keep my $400! I don't know why I should have to waste more time seeing the doctor if I now thing I don't want to take a chance on the whole thing. I still know I will cancel because I have too much going on now until winter again. And, I still need to do more consulting with more doctors and think. I just read your particular comment on you experience, and see you are from Mi. also. I live about an hour from Troy office. I was wondering if that is where you had you LSL done? I would love to hear from you personally. kam
