Worth It
Spent: $5,400 in Albuquerque, NM

At 55 yrs old I did not like my neck and jowels. I am so pleased! Actually a one hour surgical proceedure and simple overnight stay for the follow up. Spent one week wrapped and resting. Back to work feeling great. The staff in Albuquerque NM excellent from start to finish. I highly recommend this affordable, life changing proceedure.

This sounds suspicious to me....one week back to work? Mild pain? One hour procedure? Not in my case nor the multiple other ladies who did this... Who was the doctor?

Somehow I think some people on realself work for LSL. You can email them directly, and everything sounds like a sales pitch....

"Mamamia", RealSelf has absolutely no relatsionship with LSL or any other medical company.  Send me a note if you'd like to discuss your concerns.

Never implied that it did! Why are you asking me that question? I did question that some "respondents" sound like they work for LSL....their replies seem very spectical. I,for one, think RealSelf.com is a wonderful web site.

Let me clear up an issue on my statement about people on realself.com working for LSL. What I meant was some of the respondents make it sound "too good to be true" and THEY might be, in my mind, LSL employees. I have great respect for RealSelf.com or I wouldn't even offer my time or comments here. I do not consider RealSelf.com biased in any way whatsoever.

Great.  We love having a fan club!  My "door" remains open if you ever have any feedback on how we can improve RealSelf.  Thanks MAMAMIA.  ~Tom

I am so glad I found this web site. After reading all the stories, I have decided NOT to go to my appt. next week. There would be a real good chance that I would be in the 60% of people that would say it wasn't worth it. Now I have to deal with all their calls, I am sure. Thanks to all of you who shared their stories.

NO proedure lasts that long. My doc said, "The after your surgery, the gravation begins all over. I know quite a few women who had full facelifts, they look like they did before them and it is less than 5 yrs.

Please tell us more! I am having my procedure done in Albuquerque sometime next year and I am anxious to have additional information. Who was your doctor? You don't accept private messages, so I hope you can contact me! Thanks!

I had my surgery August 4th and I LOVE IT! I am 56 and look 15 years younger. Had it done in Albuquerque by Dr. Davies. Posted photos on this site but don't see them yet?? They told me the results will last ten years. I am thrilled with the results and hope to see my photos posted on here soon; can't seem to find them.

P.S. I don't see how anyone could be back to work in one week; it is some very traumatic surgery. After two weeks, I went back to work but only because I needed the income, but I was still weak. I would say at least 2-1/2 weeks. But I survived and I am fine now.
