“Life style lift: dont do it!!!!!! see my photo's!!!!!!”

Lifestyle lift: NOT worth it

Cost: $3,000
Pain: Severe
Lifestyle lift satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

I was left with terrible scars and given absolutely no post op care instructions at all. In the 3 years since I have had this surgery I have felt humiliated and ugly.

Finally I have taken some steps to repair the damage, which was significant. I am spending about $3000 to $4000 in laser which I highly reccomend.

I am starting to feel a little less self conscience about the horrific results I got... and I have the pictures to prove it.

look at my pictures and tell me: who in their right mind would do this and expect a person to heal from this type of incision and suturing???

I was butchered.

Updated on Dec 24, 2008:

obviously even post op laser treatment was only able to minimally help the very poor job that was done on my face.

Life Style Lift did not offer or care to help repair the damage. They basically said tough luck sweetie----

NEXT IN LINE PLEASE!

UGH, I WILL FEEL UGLY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

like they didn't notify any of their suppliers either. in response to the laser question: I had it done in august and at first the results were good but then that hemostasis started to creep back and I am just not sure that any more laser is going to help those scars

LASuziQ: please contact me: I have had no luck with attorneys around here: I am now convinced that the lawyers are as bad as LSL. if you can please let me know of one lawyer who has the guts to represent me.... I would not know how to repay you.

Good Lord!!!! I just sent an email to lsl and was really considering this procedure!!! Thank you and all others for your posts. I just stumbled on this site thinking I would check out lsl to be on the safe side for a change. So now when they call me to schedule an appointment I will know exactly what to say! I am so very sorry for you scaring I hope the laser works great for you. I think that is the way I am going go a little rejuv then try to find someone to do a neck lift. Anyone know about the thread lift? I had problems with breast surgery years ago, you would think I would have learned my lesson. Really after reading all the posts here I am going to do some hard thinking before I do anything this is a major wake up call. Thanks ladies! Happy New Year!!!!!!

dear real self.com, could you explain to all of us readers what the difference is between "board certified plastic surgeons" and "certified cosmetic surgeons?" ....and what "certified" really means in the first place, regarding "plastic" and "cosmetic" surgeons? thank you

Hi truecolors, Those terms can mean different things depending on where you are. See: Plastic surgeon vs. cosmetic surgeon - what's the difference? On RealSelf, here's an explanation of how we verify (and classify) docs: RealSelf.com Professional Identification Policies Making it easier to identify board-certification Hope this helps! --Sharon

I always thought "Board Certified" required exam & reviewed & experience. "Certified" just meant trained. Plastic surgeons do any surgeries; whereas cosmetic ones deal with the face. Now I'm confused..

That's horrible!!! My gyne started doing those & I couldn't believe it! I stayed clear cause she wasn't a plastic surgeon, and even tho I've known her over 10 yrs, I wasn't comfortable. I new she had to have taken a weedend warrior class. But I went for the LSL& believed every lie they told me& that was a big mistake also. I've heard of those barbs getting covered w/ scar tissue& also popping up to the surface. I pray you find a solution. God Bless

Sharon How about an ENT? If they say w/ plastic surgery, what can that mean? As a resident they did a rotation in P.S? My Dr was an ENT who claimed he was a plastic surgeon.
