Lifestyle lift: NOT worth it
Pain: Severe
I was left with terrible scars and given absolutely no post op care instructions at all. In the 3 years since I have had this surgery I have felt humiliated and ugly.
Finally I have taken some steps to repair the damage, which was significant. I am spending about $3000 to $4000 in laser which I highly reccomend.
I am starting to feel a little less self conscience about the horrific results I got... and I have the pictures to prove it.
look at my pictures and tell me: who in their right mind would do this and expect a person to heal from this type of incision and suturing???
I was butchered.

obviously even post op laser treatment was only able to minimally help the very poor job that was done on my face.
Life Style Lift did not offer or care to help repair the damage. They basically said tough luck sweetie----
NEXT IN LINE PLEASE!
UGH, I WILL FEEL UGLY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

mamamia: you are right and I had to learn the hardest way of all. my bigggest thing was not the $$ so much as the promise I would only have 3 sutures behind each ear and that I could go back to work the next day!!!!!! they have revised that since 2005 but it did not help me at all!!

Ba& BetteBoop2, others asking: You can't add your Dr's name here, only if you set your username so we can privately email, which neither of you have done.. Realself went thru hell being sued& can't add our emails or Dr's names. But you can make a link out of your username so we can privately email. All you have to do is edit your registration or email contactus@realself.com..

Please people,don't allow this stuff to scare you as it did me. My appointment to have my LifeStyle lift was 11/14/08...in doing some research on 11/5/08, I ran across these pictures with this ladie's scares. I faxed it to LifeStyle Lift immediately expressing my concerns and they called me back immediately and advised me that there are alot of people in the plastic surgery community that do not care for LifeStyle Lifts more afforable answers for some women, which made sense to me since I had checked into a conventual mini face lift that was about 30 thousand verses about 6 thousand for LifeStyle Lift. They also advised me that LifeStyle Lift does not even cut in that area which is scared in the picture and now that I HAVE HAD the procedure...they are right!!!! I was cut NO WHERE near where this picture shows lumpy scares.My incessions are inside my ear and behind my ears...they are not at all visable as shown in theses pictures!! do your reseach as I did...ask questions and check out your doctor before signing anything. My procedure was just 4days ago and yes there is pain afterwards, but as long as you take your pain medication you should be fine and follow all post-op instructions. I have been pleased so far.

Mia, did you have it done in NJ, and iif so, who or what location did you go to? I'm thinking about doing it. To ugly scars, did you have it done in Little falls by any chance? Let me know and good luck to both of you.

Mia unless they revised their surgery techniques, you got lucky. Thats not to say there are no happy LSL patients, cause there are. But.. there are some very real patients that were scarred& hurt by this procedure. I am one of them& believe me, I have scars & stitches coming thru, to prove it... I was also lied to, misled& had a hard time getting after care cause the dr was always in surgery. I do not like to lie, am a straight shooter& a Christian & would never be dishonest to hurt anyone, especially a doctor who spent years in school, but I am one of many of their surgical failures. I have tried for 2 years for honest answers from them& seek their help, but had to turn to other Dr's w/ alot of out of pocket expense for me. I wish to GOD I had never done this. Thank God you did well& Good Luck.

Deangelis: It's our word against theirs & we were either read our consent forms by them, or we were given them 5 min. before surgery... But, truth be told, there are many women who have said the exact thing... I just need pain relief at this point & some answers on what they will do to get rid of these hideous scars.
