“Life style lift: dont do it!!!!!! see my photo's!!!!!!”

Lifestyle lift: NOT worth it

Cost: $3,000
Pain: Severe
Lifestyle lift satisfaction: Poor1 Star Rating: Poor

I was left with terrible scars and given absolutely no post op care instructions at all. In the 3 years since I have had this surgery I have felt humiliated and ugly.

Finally I have taken some steps to repair the damage, which was significant. I am spending about $3000 to $4000 in laser which I highly reccomend.

I am starting to feel a little less self conscience about the horrific results I got... and I have the pictures to prove it.

look at my pictures and tell me: who in their right mind would do this and expect a person to heal from this type of incision and suturing???

I was butchered.

Updated on Dec 24, 2008:

obviously even post op laser treatment was only able to minimally help the very poor job that was done on my face.

Life Style Lift did not offer or care to help repair the damage. They basically said tough luck sweetie----

NEXT IN LINE PLEASE!

UGH, I WILL FEEL UGLY FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE.

thanks so much for the support: I know in my soul this surgery was not done correctly from the work GO: I was told so many incorrect things~from lack of post OP care to many MANY other things...like I could go back to work the next day (?????) look closely at my pictures and tell me what you think about the 40-50 sutures I received....no one could go back to work the next day after that. I have been threatened with a slander suit if I mentioned this doctors name so I am a little worried about that... but less worried as time goes on: I was represented by an attorney ~~BYRON MILNER~~ WHO LET MY STATUE EXPIRE~~~ he told me he filed a claim against LSL and later I discovered he did NOT: SO THE lawyer I have now: says I have to prove the underlying case against life style lift....to file against the crooked attorney BYRON MILLNER A/K/A "BUZZ" but to date not one Plastic surgeon has the "balls" (please excuse the language) to speak out against these crooks) my email is {contact information removed} please feel free to email me I have plenty of before and after pictures to prove my point. again many thanks for your support!!!! -- Editor note: This user can be contacted privately by clicking on their username.

just to mention: I had active FX laser correction done to the tune of $3000 it has helped somewhat but the hemostasis under the ears seems to be coming back as the laser surgery heals..the scars are better but not the large hemostasis under the ears~~due to blood pooling in the tissues ~ I will post a picture of this---post laser ~~~tomorrow I need to get my friend to take the picture since I cant do it myself... a question: does everyone have access to my photo's???? thanks again :)

I am very sorry to hear all the disappointing stories, and even though I have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow, in all probablity I will not have this procedure done. I cannot believe that none of you have contacted the local newspapers, tv media, or even televison shows such as Oprah, Tyra Banks, 20/20 or other resources that would love to get hold of a story like this. Put on your thinking caps, this is ridiculous, you hear about this LSL on TV and it is highly promoted as a lunch hour procedure, if you go in on that commercial alone whether you did your homework or not, and you come out maimed, don't take it sitting down. This is damn outrageous, and I have gotten mad just reading all the pain and suffering you all have endured. There has to be one leader to get this ball rolling. If Tyra picks up your story, she will ask for others to come forward those who have been scarred by this procedure. Do something NOW, and stop letting these scum-bags get away with ruining people's lives.

bettte2boop I do agree with your comments: there is an aside to this story: I did hire an attorney: he agree to represent me~~ then he let the statue expire - there is a 2 year statute to file a medical malpractice lawsuit I later learned that he agreed to represent several of the LSL ladies (from the NBC show) and did the same to them. the laws in Pennsylvania are very strict: file within 2 years or you are out of luck so now I have to try and file a lawsuit against the attorney but in order to do so I have to prove the underlying case; NOT ONE SINGLE PLASTIC SURGEON will help me or take my case. The attorney I have now is good: but he can't move forward until "an expert witness" would be willing to testify against LSL seems they are all afraid of them?? I dont know. please Bette tell them at LSL that you decided not to have the surgery because of me: give them my name: Joanne Marko of Plymouth Meeting.

the laser results are coming along but the hemostasis under my neck has returned :( and I need several touch ups on the scars to the tune of a few more $1000 dollars. but the improvment was worth the discomfort and cost of the laser.

Thank you for sharing your experience here. I have been thinking of getting this procedure done for over a year now, based just on the TV commercials, and the brochures that I received from the LSL company. After doing extensive research, including your story here, I have decided not to get the procedure. What is troubling is that I have often felt that I am somehow disfigured because of my own aging process - the wrinkles and the sags are not how I "see" myself. My husband is a pro photographer, and uses me as a model when we set up the studio. The result is I look old & tired in the photos. He photographs beautiful young models all the time, and my husband looks very young for his age, which makes it even more difficult. Oh, and I'm not robbing the cradle - he is only 9 months younger than me. That being said, after reading these accounts, I do have more perspective, and will now instead work on getting an "attitude lift" about my own natural aging process. It is the price that I pay for having had the privilege of living this long. Thanks again, and I wish you all the best in your recovery & restitution.

Ladies, I'm thinking about numerous comments that they are not going with the LSL. If you feel that your looks are aging, why not see an accredited PS and get some idea of $$$? Condering my brow-lift,lypo chin, check implants and facelift (done correctly, I spent about $12,000. I'm paying it off on a cosmetic loan and I'll be finished next Spring! I think the LSL is over rated and done by "hacker" type surgeons who just go to a training course for a week and then advertise. Smile.....your worth it.
