A New Me! Something I've Wanted for a Long Time!!!! - Lilburn, GA

I'm a 34 year old married mom of 4. I've always been happy with my body but my stomach area has always bothered me. Last year after I was determined that I was not going to have any more kids I set out on a quest to have something done. I was set on a tummy tuck but couldn't afford the downtime and days from work.My sister who works for a group of surgeons told me about another procedure SmartLipo. Now I live in a small city so I found very few Drs who performed SmartLipo in our area, I found Dr Boutte on Realself. She was rated as one of the top des with this procedure.So let's fast forward..... I arrived at 7:30 for my procedure. I can't say that I was nervous but I did have butterflies!!! I believe I waited around 15-20 minutes before Crystal called me back. She was just as pleasant in person as she was over the phone. And yes I spoke with her multiple times to the point she knew who I was when she answered. I had to take care of a few signatures with her before I was sent to have my pictures taken. After my pics she took me upstairs to prep me. BTW, the office was very very clean and modern which of course she be important to anybody. After my second round if pics and my clean up I was ready As far as pain level I was in and out the entire time. I didn't feel any pain until towards the end of the procedure. On a level of 1-10 I would say a 6. I do remember saying ouch!! But Dr Boutte kept me calm. It was not painful enough to shed a tear. Her nurse was so nice and she kept me as ease. We had some good conversations before my procedure. Good to have a nice conversation with a woman washing you up considering it was out of my comfort zone!! Lol.I'll post my before measurement later and maybe some pics when I take my binder off!

So my first night home was an experience. I was in a lot of pain but my husband was here to help. I do recommend that if you do decide to have this procedure make sure someone can stay with you over night to help you in and out of bed and so on. So I had to remove my garment to shower and i must say that I was pleased with what I saw despite the swelling! !! My husband really noticed a different and of course I was cheesing ear to ear!! I did receive a check up call from the wonderful nurse Lee. She started the convo with "have you started shopping for your new dress size"!!!! I told her my only concern which was no bms and reassured the steps I had to take over the next few days. Btw she told me to take a veggie stool softener for constipation.
