Hi everyone - have had lots going on and this is my first chance at updating my review (don't mind the dodgy editing of pics for privacy I'm useless at this stuff but it will give you an idea of pics).
Firstly, the overall experience was fine it's not something that is unbearable in terms of pain. The bruising went all the way down my cheeks making me look like a chipmunk but 2 weeks later my bruising was entirely gone.
So, initially like everyone else I hated my nose! The things that bothered me were the low hanging columella, my nose veered extremely to the left and had a bulbous tip. I also disliked the hump on the bridge from profile and 3/4 angles, it gave me a hard strong look. I wanted something a little more softer and natural and to align the nose as much as possible.
I also had a deviated septum on the right side of my nose.
Overall, Dr Medawar was lovely as a person, very friendly and reassuring. The HIMC Hospital was clean and comfortable. I explained to Dr Medawar what my issues were and showed him some examples of how I envisioned the outcome then got ready for surgery. I wanted to ensure the nose was more aligned, tip refined emphasising I did not want nostrils visible from the front and that the bridge was shaved down giving me a nicer profile.
After the surgery I was a little in shock as the tip sat so high but has since settled, I do hope it drops even more but have been assured this will take time.
Overall, I love the profile shots. My issue is mainly around and underneath my tip as my nose still appears as though it is veering to the left and my left nostril is different and much smaller than the other. I have spoken with the Doc who has said this could be due to swelling and it's too early to tell. I am just feeling a little distressed as my nose was more to the left to begin with, so just feeling a little disheartened at the moment.
There are some angles which I smile which makes it look a little better but I avoid front shot angles altogether as I'm not confident with how it looks. My breathing is amazing now on the right side, but not 100% on my left side.
I've been in touch with the doctor and the instruction is to keep taping the nose to manipulate it into certain directions and using ear buds to work on. Has anyone else had this issue?
My nose still continues to change daily, some days swelling is worse than others, the good thing is the nostril thing is not something that's as evident in real life, so most people don't notice a thing, but I feel self conscious when I'm talking to people thinking that they are looking at my nose..It's mainly when I take a front angle picture that I feel like it's really obvious.
Will continue to take it day by day and keep everyone posted.

I will post pics as soon as I have good coverage in Lebanon. I had my procedure Saturday 16th August at HIMC and showed Dr Medawar what I was after prior to surgery. I vomited alot a few hours after surgery probably from the anaesthetic.
I was given some antibiotics and painkillers but have had a red blotchy reaction so cant really do much for pain am taking prescribed anti allergy meds instead. Bruising is starting to subside still look chipmunk like with swollen cheeks.
I get my packing removed tomorrow and will keep you posted with results. Will provide an overall rating and review after cast is off.
