I have been going back and forth about getting breast implants and finally decided to do it. I am 25 years old with two children and breastfed (well pumped) with both of them. My first I only pumped for a month or 2 until I dried up but breastfed my 2nd for nine months so I am deflated and decided it was time to do this for myself!

I am extremely nervous about this mostly because I do have some slight sagging, however, I am fully ok with having a natural sag but I am terrified of having "Frankenboobs" like I have seen many times on here. I am so nervous with how I am going to look since I am deflated and have some loose skin already....AHHH!! Only a few more days.

Only a few more days and I am really starting to have terrible anxiety.....I am just so nervous that it will not go as planned or that I have unrelaistic expectations....Please, support anyone! I have been obsessed with reviewing this sight and noticed that, generally, when someone has as much tissue as I have and that there is a slight sag, then the generally end up looking very boxy and deformed for the first few months. I really hope I settle into everything without that look.

LOLLLLL well, patience is a Virtue. I am 41, it took many many years to develop that trait. haaahaaa Well, I hope you have a beautiful outcome & have the best results at first....!

I totally understand how nervous you are feeling, been there done that!!! LOL However, there's not much to worry about, especially if you have found a board certified doctor with excellent credentials/reviews. Had my BA done 10 months ago and am thrilled with the pretty, perky results....( Mine were "boxy" and not attractive for about 8 weeks, then they began to settle & obtained a better shape.) look forward to seeing your post op piks soon.....Good luck hunn:-)

I am very comfortable with my doctor but I think I have become too obsessed. Haha. I get on here and see others who have not had the best results at first and automatically assume that it will be me! I am just going to have to develop some patience....although I believe that will be more difficult that it seems. I am 25 and I haven't ever been patient so I doubt that will change. Haha.

Tomorrow is the day....I have to be there at 10:15 a.m. and go in for surgery at 11:30 a.m. I am feeling excitement, nervousness, apprehension and anxiety. I hope all goes well and I can't wait to see my new look. I have come to realize that it is going to take time until they have fully settled and look how they should.....this should help my recovery process a bit easier. At least I hope anyways.

Well I had my surgery yesterday and all went well. I am a little sore and swollen but the pain really isn't too bad. My implants are definitely riding high but that was expected. I got saline, under the muscle and they were filled to 510 cc's. I was a large B/small C to begin with and should be a full D once the swelling has subsided. So far, I am happy with the results and can't wait for them to settle.

Look at you! All that worrying and not even a hint of frankenboob! It just goes to show you that this surgery is different for everyone and there are no typical experiences. Glad to see/hear you're doing well. Keep us posted on your progress!

I'm 5'4", 120 lbs. Was a large B/small C to begin with. I went with a 480 cc saline implants filled to 510 cc's under the muscle.

Well I am on my 2nd day post-op. Our kiddos are at their grandparents for the night so we are just relaxing and preparing myself for having to return to work Monday. Luckily I have an office job so it shouldn't be an issue. I have only taken my pain medicine once today....the pain is pretty well tolerable for the most part. We went out and I purchased a new bra (that fit a little better) from JC Penny and we went out to dinner. It felt nice to get dressed and actually get out of the house. My boobs are still rather large and high but I'm assuming that will only improve in the weeks to come. I definitely hope that some of my size is from swelling b/c these puppies are HUGE!!

klaa, you're looking great for day 2; no frankenboob at all. Are you icing for the swelling?

Well it has been 2 days shy of a week since my surgery date. The girls are still riding high and seem pretty large, naked anyways, but I am adjusting. I definitely like how they look in the bra and in clothing but I just think that I am not used to seeing full boobies without clothes on so I am in shock.

I am pretty well off pain medication for the post part and the pain is almost all gone and it is more an uncomfortable feeling now. I do take some tylenol before bed and when I wake up in the morning. I get a little sore when I don't move around for long periods of time. I have definitely had some sleepless nights lately though because I am generally a side/tummy sleeper and having to sleep on my back, propped up isn't the most comfortable position for me but I am dealing. I do have some bruising underneat and around my incision that is tender to the touch but other than that they aren't really tender.

I go for my 2nd post-op appointment on Friday and I am going to ask about massaging. He hasn't had me massage yet and I am just wearin a surgical/sports bra 24/7. I definitely wanna do everything in my power to get these puppies to drop. And also anything to help with the swelling. I know that it is still early but I hope that their size is due to swelling because I am a little nervous because I think they look quite large for my frame.

One last word of advice.....make sure you are prepared for your nipples to be hard NON-STOP! The implants push your nipples outwards and mine have literally been poking through my bra and clothing since my surgery!

I think in a few months once they drop they will look amazing! Just give yourself time, it takes time. As for nipples, when mine dropped more where the full implant is behind my breast tissue and nipple, my nipples actually stay softer now, I used to always have hard ones prior to surgery! funny how everyone is different! Good luck and be patient!

Since we both have saline- and our surgery dates were close- how are yours feeling "softness" wise?

Hey ladies.....I will be a week post-op tomorrow and it seems like my swelling has been worse the past few days than it was the 1st and 2nd day. Anyone else experience this?

Klaa - I am glad it's not just me feeling that way. I am one week post-op today and I feel like the past 2 nights and today they feel more swollen than they ever were before. Or maybe not swollen but the skin on the upper poles feels like it is being pulled really tight. And, the skin between my breast has a pulling senesation too.

YES!! I feel the same way. I don't have pain but I am just uncomfortable and feel an extra pulling and tightening sensation. My ps said the swelling peaks around the first week so it is normal to be more swollen now. I started freaking out b/c I was happy with my size the next day after surgery but they have ballooned up since then b/c of swelling but my ps said that they will go down so I am at ease now. Also, the past few nights have been miserable sleeping! I can't get comfortable for the life of me!
So do you really feel you went too big? I think they look really good already without the dropping. I'm 11 days out and I keep worrying about going to big. Are they pretty heavy feeling? Sorry for all the questions, just curious!

Well I had my one week post-op appt today. My ps said everything is looking great and I go back in 3 weeks. He said I am still swollen and that they are still riding high but that, with time, they will drop and look great. They are definitely still high and "larger than life" but I think once they drop and settle that I will be really happy. They look GREAT in clothes but still look rather large when I am naked but that will all change when they get settle in. I updated my picture and it is a little funky b/c I have both my arms extended but it gives you the general idea!

Congrats on the results...they look great...I'm sure when they settle it won't seem large ...I too am getting saline, what made you go with them and how do they feel?

They have actually settled quite a bit the past few days. I still have a ways to go and am not even 2 weeks out yet. I did saline b/c I already had some breast tissue. My ps said that if I didn't have very much tissue then he would recomment silicone b/c they feel more like breast tissue but my tissue would disguise the implant so he didn't see doing the added expense of silicone. they are still a little hard but that is b/c they are still riding high. They are slowly dropping and starting to soften. I have heard that it can take a few months for them to drop completely and soften.
Thanks for responding...I have a ways to go before my surgery, keep us posted on your healing....

Well I am 2 weeks post op today. Still a little sore every now and then when I move a particular way or if I touch a bruise that developed under my right breast. All of my other bruises have disappeared except this one....it is just about gone but not quite. Both my breasts still have some dropping and fluffing to do but my right has dropped more than my left. Waiting for them to catch up to each other and for this whole dropping and fluffing process to be done!! Ugh....I have no patience!!

Mine look very good in clothes but they are still high without any clothes on. I'm trying to be patient and let them drop but it is so hard!
