Dr. Pousti is the BEST!!!!
WORTH IT$3,000
I am so happy and pleased beyond belief that I stuck with my first instinct when choosing Dr. Pousti as my surgeon. He and his crew have made the entire experience from start to finish a wonderful journey for me! Dr. Pousti goes way beyond what's necessary to please all his patients. I'm continually amazed at his professionalism and caring personality. I'm 7 weeks post-op and he still wants me to come in for follow-up appointment to make sure I'm still doing good. He's gone out of his way to help me with another personal issue without questioning me or asking me for more money. I've never felt this close to any of my doctors in all of my 52 years....Keep up the excellent work Dr. Pousti!! You are loved and admired by many!!!

I believe this will be my final post-op picture. I...
I believe this will be my final post-op picture. I said I would send a picture post-op wearing the same ugly pink super uncomfortable bra...ha-ha! So here it is! My husband took this pic from his cell phone this morning so it's pretty terrible..... looks a lot lighter than the pre-op pic. I'm still healing and experiencing some burning underneath left breast but I'm hopeful this feeling will subside pretty soon. I'm so happy to have found this website too! Happy healing to everyone!

You're looking fantastic Nomore. You must be so pleased with the results. Take care. X
You look so much better now in your ugly pink bra - lol! Seriously, thanks so much for sharing your journey. Hugs and continued healing! Xoxo
Thanks! I feel better that's for sure! The ugly pink bra that I never wore is going in the trash! It's so uncomfortable! My girlfriend gave me a gift certificate for Victoria Secret so as soon as my incisions heal I'll go shopping for a nice comfy bra with good support. I found that laying underneath the ceiling fan with no bra helps dry out the incision. It sure helped with the burning....Happy Healing....just in time for swimsuit season.
You look wonderful!! Happy for you!! Happy healing now!!:)

Great encouragement from all the women getting the surgery done. I don't feel too nervous about my appointment with my Plastic Surgeon this morning. I couldn't sleep last night though. Is is impossible to lay on your side when sleeping with the drains in?
It's not recommended sleeping on your side with drains. The way the pressure is organized in your bra it's much more effective if you lay in a recliner type position. But, i did cheat and laid on the couch where I could rest my head on my soft blanket. This felt like I was laying on my side...haa! Good luck with your surgery!! Are you gonna post pictures?
I don't know. I guess I should huh? Just saw my new Dr. today. He said he doesn't use drains unless he sees the need for them. Said I could be driving a car if I wanted in 3-4 days. Told me to get a sports bra. Said I would be a small B, which is okay to me.
Glad to hear your consultation went well today! A small B is great!! I'll be happy with a full A. :-)
Hi girls!! Thanks for all the comments! Up for abit and back to lay down for the night. Surgery was better then I thought today, but I know it's early. I peeked. maybe not a good thing to do first day? I must hear again though! Is it normal to see indents around the nipple area, ? With the big arse grapefruit gone, expected it. That must be what I recall most talking about. Just need to be patient. So, good nigth Ladies! Best of luck to all!! :)
Good Night works too!!
Ha Ha Ha love the sleeping around description. You are going to look lovely, rest well and sorry about your loss (funeral). Warm healing hugs to you.
Mine was reddish pink but clear. Call your PS! If you think something is off, don't wait on it! Maybe you can even send him a photo of what the fluids look like? Hoping your healing goes smoothly.... :-)
My fluid changed colors as time went by. Started out very red, then changed to orangy and now more clear yellow kind of.
Yea, I figured it was part of the healing process. I'm detoxing from the pain meds past two days...wow those suckers will screw you up fast. I can see why people get addicted to them so fast! I only took Percocet for two days 1/2 dosage too and I was so irritable, anxious and couldn't sleep....pretty much could not relax at all!!! I got rid of those pain pills fast when I figured out what was happening to my body...my GOD!!! I've been taking Top & Ese to get rid of the edginess and it's working great!!!! HEY! BTJM when do you get your drains out?
Well, that's a very good question. I go back to my doctor day after tomorrow at 1:00 and I'm hoping he will think I don't need them. I am still getting fluid in the bottles, but less and less. I have a new strange thing going on; wait til you hear this one! My left one makes noise! Are you laughing? There is a feeling of swishing or gurgling or something, and I swear there is a sound to it. I wonder if the pocket left by the implant could have some air left in it or something?? It is the one that drained more fluid out. My husband just shakes his head at this whole process!
That's a good thing! I have not had any noise yet! My PS talked about that yesterday.. ALL healing going on! I want some noise. These little flat pancakes of mine need to wake up under all that tight compression!! LOL
Are you serious???? Or are you kidding me????? Is it possible to have some noise? LOL Leave them sleeping; it's a little unsettling when they get noisy!
HA!!Serious. My explant was yesterday and my PS said they will make noise down the path, some sooner! Okay, maybe the sleeping little pancakes will just stay tucky tucky and in trauma right now?? :))))Id hate to be standing in a Market and they started making noise! I am thinking no markets for me for a week or so! I sent the Man of the House. :)
Thank you grapefruits no more, You have no idea how you have put my mind at ease! Thank God for all of you - a woman could definitely lose her mind going through this!
Hiya. I had sloshing too, it lasted about a week and gradually eased off, it's a bizarre feeling (I didn't like it). My friend asked if I was hungry one day as she thought it was my tummy rumbling lol! It's all good, try not to worry. X
I am 100% serious! I was sad mine are so dang quiet. To me, if they are sloshing, things are pumping in there, and a good sign. :)) That's what Ive heard on here somewhere before this too. I am kinda lost on the sites right now. Take care! Do you think my breast will bounce back ? Fluff? I forgot what most of the Lovelies on here said in the past?? Patience ,,, ? Praying for sleep and the P word..!
:)) None of that for me yet. But I will be ready! :)
I never had sloshing, but my lefty 'vibrated' for a few days. It was so bizarre! It wasn't a muscle spasm, just this weird humming sensation. So glad it stopped! Grapefruits, enjoy the silence! lol.
Did you try tilting the glass....hahahahaha! Is it a slurping sound...omg...how funny!!! No noises for me yet, but I'm got very little fluid coming out since 6:30am and one side only; It's kind of orange in color. I got a letter from Dow Corning just know stating that I can get assistance with the cost of my implant removal NOW THAT THEY'RE GONE!!! What's up with that? Damn it!
You still get the money. You just send verification that they were removed and not replaced with more silicone - there is a form to use on their website and you attach the surgery records.
Too funny, humming, sloshing, gurgling wow!
I think yours will fluff up and be absolutely what you are hoping for. This waiting for them to settle in is very hard isn't it?
Thank you! Yes, but I must be patient! Ive heard so many on here say that. :) I am still so thankful for doing this! Removing the bags of Toxins.
Hi BTJM,
I was unable to find your last reply regarding EAP program. It states that the money from Dow Corning pays money directly to physician..but what if I've already paid cash for it? The form mentions nothing of reimbursements.
Wahoooo! I got the drains removed last night and it feels awesome! I also got a glimpse of my boobies from a looking down prospective. I haven't actually seen them in the mirror yet, but I don't care at this point. I feel awesome and free again! No more worrying or pain and most of all, not more NOT fitting into my size tops because boobs are too big. I still have a lot of recovery time so I'm going to view that and take advantage of the break from all the hard physical work for another month. I'm still packed like a sausage for a while longer, but I can learn to live with it. My main concern is to not overdo it before I heal completely. How are you doin?
It will pay you $5000.00 directly upon filling out your form and attaching info they request. They do not care how much you paid the PS. Then, if you are willing to sign off - have no health problems in other words, you apply for another $2000.00. The forms are on the SFDCT web site.
I am doing really well, anxious as you can imagine to see my PS tomorrow. He "MUST" remove these drains tomorrow. I cannot imagine that he would leave them in any longer but I have to admit that I am still emptying them. The spot where they enter my skin is very pink and gets a little sore at times. I was frantically checking this site last night as I was afraid of infection but I guess it's normal to have some redness there. I agree that you have to MAKE yourself take it easy. It sounds as though your work is extremely physical and you could really hurt yourself. Please don't do that.
Back to Just Me can you tell me what you are talking about getting money for getting your implants removed?
Mine were Dow Corning and they will help as long as you still have, or can get proof that your implants were their product.
I looked up the Dow Corning site on the internet, and it said that the claims were done as of 15 December 2010.
Dow Corning sent out letters notifying everyone that used their products that there is a claim expiration date for all those that qualify. If you didn't receive a letter then maybe you're not part of that Class Action Lawsuit that started about 25 years ago. Did you get notification of the suit years ago?
Don't believe those dates....That's what I thought too! Call them!!! 866-874-6099
