To make it a bit clearer I had an smas facelift, upper and lower eyes, brow lift neck lift on the 14/12/13....I had incisions around ear across my forehead, around the back of my ears and head as well as on by bottom lash line and upper eye.... cheers

So back in Australia and back at work full time. Feeling really well, but still in holiday mode. Remain really happy with the results

How did your surgeon create such an amazing improvement in your upper eyelid with only a facelift? It is a wonderful result and one that almost anyone would love to have with only incisions around the ear area. Do you know what technique was used? thanks, grace60

Oh no it was not just the smas face lift, as I stated I also has upper and lower eye lids , brow lift as well.. I had way more than just incisions around my ears.. all over the top of my scalp, upper lower lids, around d the back of my neck... I think the surgeon would have been a miracle worker if he could do that with only incisions around my ears... I hope this is a bit clearer.. sorry you misunderstood what I wrote

After deciding in March this year to have a facelift overseas I began my research. I choose Gorgeous getaways as a booking agent as I had a work colleague who had used them and I also choose Malaysia and Dr Nasir for the same reason.I had read both positive and negative reviews on the agent the doctor and the destination. I was well aware of things that could go wrong as with any surgery and was willing to take that calculated risk. As a nurse of 35+ years my concern was more with the competency of the anaesthetist as the operation takes at least 4.5 hours. With the desision made my sister in law decided to have a facelift as well. She choose a different Doctor and we shared a room at the park royal for 2 weeks. GG staff in Malaysia were amazing and I am so glad I had that support. There pick you up from the airport, take you to your appointments. Ring and see you every day. Elena my care consultant was wonderful. I had sent Dr Nasir before photos and I also had a consult with him on the day of surgery and met my anesthetist. I asked all the question I wanted to and felt very confident. The medical centre is first class as were all the staff. Truely amazing.....I was in the Beverly Wiltshire medical centre. My greatest surprise came after the operation.. I had NO pain at all not even a head ache. I felt great but swollen of cause.. After the mist caring treatment at the hospital I was taken back to the hotel the next afternoon. By the next morning I was itching to go for a walk and explore KL. I honestly felt so well. At the moment I am still in Kl and go home in 2 days.. a month after arriving. I have travelled to different parts of Malaysia, walked in the jungles and swan in the sea, gone hiking sand on boat trips. At the moment I have very little numbness left and only very slight swelling. Scaring is minimal. So all in all I am thrilled with my decision to have Dr Nasir as my doctor..I am happy to answer any question. I have attached before photos and some photos from 1 1/2 weeks post op till now almost 4 weeks after.

You look fabulous! Can you tell your total cost including accommodations and air fair? I've read some very scary reviews. Therefore, not taking this lightly.

Hi Rose8, Op cost $5500, airfares I got on sale through Airasia total return to Melbourne $650, and that included the price of the upgrade to Premium flat bed on the way over. I shared the accommodation costs with my S-I-L so for the 2 weeks I think my share was around $60 a day maybe $65. We stayed at the Parkroyal serviced suites, which I highly recommend. The staff are so lovely. I had read the scary reviews as well and it is a decision not to be taken lightly, and I feel for the people that have had terrible results, however I can only speak for myself and I am thrilled with every bit of my treatment, the care I received, the GG staff in Malaysia, and the results after such a short time... hope this helps a little

I didnt take anything with me, other than personal belongings, everything as far as dressings and medication was supplied.
