Hello everyone! I will be getting my breast reduction June 25 so this coming Monday. Very nervous so nervous that I've barely been to sleep these past few days. I have been "blessed" from what people have called it with large breast since the sixth grade. So this has been something that I have considered for a while.

Hello everyone ahhh... Tomorrow is the BIG DAY!!! Still very nervous but I'm definitely ready to get things rolling on my path to recovery. In words of Sam Cooke "it's been a long time coming" ... Saying goodbye to all the sharp back pains, the neck pain and heaviness and not being able to workout. Not only that I'm going to be excited to buy new SEXY BRAS and cute shirts!! But my main thing is to start eating better because I donot wish to go back to heavy large best. Whelp that's all I have to say right now I will keep everyone posted tomorrow depending on how I feel.

Reposting because it didn't post my comment the 1st time. It's 7:06 and I'm maybe 4 mins away from the hospital. Still very nervous but I know there's a happy needle they give you to make you forget about it. I will definitely be saying a prayer for myself. I will be updating everyone when I start feeling a little better. Peace and love everyone!

It's about 5:28pm and I am just waking up to eat a little. Surgery went really really well not too much pain just soreness and three fingers that are not numb. My doctor and nurses were extremely welcoming , caring and sweet they were very professional! I went in for surgery about 9:44am and left the hositpal about 2:25pm but with being knocked out it just like I took a nap and woke back up. Well ima head in back to sleep so I can get some rest I will definitely keep updating you guys as my progress gets better. Again thank you for all the encouraging and caring comments!

Good morning everyone ... Well it's morning here...

Good morning everyone ... Well it's morning here 7:39am. I had just finished some breakfast to take some of medicine. It's been four days since my surgery. I had a shocker yesterday from seeing my stinches, I did break down a bit. I think any surgery can be stressful and over whelming for anyone. Especially since I've been wanting this done for some time now. So seeing the after visually and mentally really got to me. Im doing fine though im coming to terms with everything. The only thing that I am disliking so far is not being able to lay down and actually sleep how I want to. I guess because the stinches are healing it's causing them to sting every time I sit up. I've been trying to rest but it's just uncomfortable. If anyone could tell me if it felt better after getting their stinches out? Or just when did it become comfortable after surgery to lay how you wanted to and actually wear a bra that fitted you? Well I will try to post later on in the week talk to you guys soon. ;)

When did you guys stop bandaging your breast? I'm on my 4day and the nurse said its up to the patient whether or not to use the bandages. I think their the cause of me feeling a stinging under my breast where the stinches are.

My doctor was very nice and made sure he answered all my questions and also made sure he was clear on what to exspect. The nurses were sweet and gently and caring and made sure I was comfortable and okay. All and all my breast reduction surgery went really well. I am now on my road to recovery, painless days , uncomfortable nights and great bras and tops!!!! ;)

Thanks for letting us know that you are doing so well! Congratulations!! Now is the time to lie back and rest all that you can. I know its hard, but just think of all of those times you've dreamt of having nothing to do...well this is that time, you have nothing that you have to do except heal, so give yourself all the time you need!

Best way to get connected is to comment on some of the other reviews. It sometimes takes a few days for the reviews to pop up on everyone's radars, but if you check in with others they will find you and you will be amazed at the support you get!
