I Feel Great and Its Only Been 8 Weeks . I Am Loving my Arms for the First Time in Many Years. - Keller, TX

Surgery for me took bout 2 hrs, I was off work for about 7 days ( I have a desk job) so I was able to go back to work. I had a drain in each arm and they came out after 10 days. I took my meds as instructed and that helped. I had staples and stitches. Staples were removed after 4 weeks. I had no side effects or breakdowns, as I did as instructed by the Dr. He knows what can happen if you don't follow the rules and can tell. I followed and am healing really well. If sitting I had my arms elvated. My arms were wrapped/compression sleeves up until 8 weeks and then after that, wrapped to do cleaning, working out. Basicly anything the puts strain on your arms.As I have read and told by my Dr. it will take up to a year to fully heal. Everyone one is different, but this is my experience. Would I do it again, Yes.

I went for a consultation with Dr Rumalla and he spent time explaining everything. Did not rush me out the door. He could tell my arms really bothered me. He told me upfront what to expect no surprises. I had researched this procedure and had my questions together. The surgery center was great and the nurse who checked me in was with me thru till I left. I got four opinions before deciding on a surgeon and I picked the BEST. I would not hesitate to go back and have another procedure with him.
