I have had two c-sections and a hysterectomy due to cancer, my tummy was in rough shape. Then I gained about 50 pounds. I was disgusted with how I looked and became a hermit, never leaving the house except to go to work or buy groceries. I had wanted a Tummy Tuck for ever and finally saved up enough money last May, 2011 and scheduled with Dr. Rankin. This was by far one of the easiest recoveries I've ever had. Of course it was painful, but nothing like recovering from a c-section or a hysterectomy. The muscle repair felt like I did 1000 sit ups. Upon first seeing my tummy I broke down and cried, because I loved what I saw and never thought I could have a tummy like that again. I went back to work at 11 days, took a trip at 6 weeks and was back to full time work outs at 12 weeks. I'm almost 1 year post op and wouldn't change a thing. Please don't hesitate to ask me ANY questions, I'm pretty open about this surgery.

I spent 15 years + wanting a Tummy Tuck and finally had the courage to set up consultations. I left messages with 3 different plastic surgeons after hours. I couldn't believe it but Dr. Rankin's office responded to my message after hours about 15 minutes after I left a message. So I set up the appointment. After meeting the staff, nurses and Dr. Rankin, I just knew this was the location for me, and not once have I doubted my decision. They treat you like family, always friendly, ready to answer questions when you have them. During my recovery, Dr. Rankin personally called me in the evening three nights in a row to see how I was doing, I have never had a Doctor call me, it was refreshing and very personable. I highly recommend Dr. Rankin and Aqua Plastic Surgery, you won't regret it!
