I have had 590cc implants for the last 10 years. I got them when I was young, because I was really into fitness and bodybuilding and didn't have anyone to tell me any better. I am 5'3" and used to weigh around 135lbs with pretty low body fat. I have not worked out consistently in 5 years and am now 120lbs with much less muscle. They look really big on my frame. I also have had 3 children since and nursed all of them, so my implants do not look the same as before. I want to get my implants removed so I can teach my children they are beautiful the way they are. I don't want to have to go through the hassle of repeat surgeries either. I have met with 4 different board certified plastic surgeons in my area. I have chosen Dr. Csikai. He answered all my questions, his work looks good, he has good reviews, his staff is professional and friendly, I didn't have to wait in the office a long time before getting in to be seen. I've had an overall good experience with them so far. Since my implants are so big I will have to get a lift as well. The plan is to pop the implants (this week!) and drain them. Then, wait a few months to let my skin retract as much as possible before the surgery. I am really excited to get these things out of me. It will be so nice to wear a regular bra and shirts again. I will keep you all updated on my journey as I go along. A big thanks to everyone else who has shared their story. I will add photos later tonight when my kids are in bed.

Feeling Down

So, I have wanted these things out for years now. I haven't been able to wear a lot of dresses, shirts, or even bras for so long. I found this website and did tons of research so I knew what to expect. I am not usually an over emotional person, but I am just feeling down.

I had my implants drained the 25th. Everything went fine and I was alright about it until last night. I guess I was expecting them to look bad, but at least I would be able to stuff them into a bra fine. They are 2 different sizes so that is difficult. I forgot to mention I am still nursing my last child. He is 15 months old and I should be done weaning him by the end of the week. I don't know if the size difference is because there is more tissue in my right breast or that it is milk. My son nurses off that side more frequently. Also, I have had pain on the right breast since it was deflated. At first I thought it was just sore, because of the needle. It hasn't gone away, though. It's a nagging pain during the day, but at night when I try to sleep it is very uncomfortable when I try and sleep on my sides. The empty bags poke out a lot. Maybe it's because the bags are so large? I don't know. All I know is I have to live at least 3 or 4 months like this, because I have to wait that long before surgery to make sure my milk is dried up. I'm also emotional about weaning my son for some reason. I thought I would be over the moon to even just have the size down. I think if there wasn't that pain and I didn't have to rush wean my son (so I can get the surgery sooner so the pain in gone) it wouldn't be so bad. It does feel good to wear a regular bra again, though and I am looking forward to having the surgery done. Right now, we have it scheduled for February. I am going to wean my son and see if we can move it to early January. My doctor said 3 months after weaning should be fine.

I've had a good experience here so far. I was able to easily make an appointment. The staff is good at getting back to you and answering any questions. The office is in a good location (easy to find and good parking) and clean. I didn't have to wait long to be seen by the doctor. I felt Dr. Csikai answered all my questions and spent plenty of time with me. He gave me a fair price and didn't try and add unnecessary procedures or costs. Out of the 4 doctors I saw, I definitely feel the most comfortable with him.
