Just Started, Concerned About Bite

ORIGINAL POST

I just got my aligners yesterday, and they don't...

WORTH IT$2,800

I just got my aligners yesterday, and they don't seem to be too painful. My one concern however, is my bite - after I take out the aligners to eat, even though it's only been 1 day, my teeth don't fit together properly, and it's hard to eat (although after 10 minutes or so, they go back to how they are supposed to be). Does anyone know if this will be corrected? I'd rather have slightly crowded teeth than have a misaligned bite...

I'm on my 4th set of alligners and felt exactly the same as you on my first one, it just didn't feel right when I was eating and I was really nervous at first. But this real does go away, I think it's just a matter of getting used to it. I was in quite a lot of pain the fist 4 days but don't even notice them now,and feel perfectly normal when I eat. Good luck with it.
I'm on liner set 15 of approx. 26 and noticed that the bite problem to come and go. My treatment involves quite a significant amount of teeth movement and ultimately a very different bite. In the earlier part of my treatment, I noticed that my bite will interfere with chewing. But now, over half way through, I can see and feel my bite coming together in an all together different way and my mouth (and brain) is getting used to it. My teeth have been more "wiggly" throughout...I had a front tooth removed to make room for my treatment (I have big teeth). But they seem to "harden" near the end of a liner cycle.
I am looking into Invisalign and part of my procedure would be to remove a lower front tooth to provide room. Did you have any issues around this and how do you feel about your smile with one tooth missing below? Has anyone noticed that tooth? Also how is your bite now? I actually will be getting one of the four lower front teetgh in between my canine removed. Which one did you have removed? Any other comments you have please feel free to provide.
Nitpc13 : I was told on the initial consult that I needed to have a similar lower, just right of center tooth removed. Then I got an urgent call to NOT have the tooth removed. Apparently when my models were submitted to Invisalign, they determined that I shouldn't have the tooth pulled. The orthodontist gets info back from Invisalign and decides if he thinks the suggested approach is best for the patient. He had requested that they develop the suggested program/trays based on not extracting. We both agreed that taking out an otherwise healthy tooth didn't make sense. However, I now will have 10 buttons applied. Ask for a work-up that excludes the extraction. You'll likely have to pay for that step because it involved special molds to be done and work done by Invisalign.
I've had one of my central lower tooth pulled out to make some space for other teeth to move and straighten. It was a tragedy for me! And for the very long 7 weeks (while waiting for my Invisalign) I had almost to stop my social life at all. Now I'm on my first set (there are 16 pairs of aligners for me)and a nurse gave me special wax to fill this space in my bottom aligner. And it really helps. I don't know how much time it will take for my teeth to move together, but I'm staying positive and hoping for the best result!
Yours where only 2,800?? where did you get them?
howd you get it for so cheap??
Hey, I am from MN. Please let me know the orthodontist treated you for invisialign. The cost seems to be far better than what I heard. Is it partially covered by insurance?
