Just like a lot of the guys on here, I've...

Just like a lot of the guys on here, I've experienced a light form of gynecomastia since I was about 15. It bothered me a bit throughout the years.. taking my shirt off at out-door events, wearing particular clothing, etc.. I finally decided to get something done about it, and so far I can say I'm very glad I did.

My form of gynecomastia wasn't too heavy. I had the protruding nipples/areola that would be puffy when in a warm setting, and also a small amount of fat around the pec area. (Pics attached) It never kept me from living my life, but it was definitely a severe annoyance, and one that I finally decided to rectify.

I decided to go with Dr. Boynton due to his minimally invasive technique, the before and after pictures on his website, as well as a very detailed review of the procedure that I found on here. Dr. Boynton and his office were great in getting me in and providing me details on the procedure, as well as making me feel as comfortable as possible throughout the process. It can be a bit of an embarrassing endeavour, I know.

I'm the three days post-op and so far I can say it was well worth it! The surgery went by quickly, about 45 minutes, and I was home within 1 hour and half. I haven't been in too much pain, besides some soreness (like a heavy chest workout), and I have had little no bleeding from any of the incisions or lipo areas. It has been a slight struggle to get clothing, plus the compression vest on/off, but nothing too terrible. I could say so far it has been a breeze! No troubles sleeping either.. though I sleep on my back regardless. I will continue to post updates on my progress and pictures. So far so good!

5 day - 7 day update

Results are looking great and no issues so far. Not too much pain and I returned to return to work on Sunday (surgery was the previous Monday). My job requires a decent bit of moving around and I was able to do it with ease. There is still a bit of bruising, swelling, and soreness, but overall I'm feeling great and basically have been able to resume my normal life.

I'm still wearing the compression vest and pads, day and night, besides showering and getting my body some air for about 30 minutes after. My next follow up is 8 days from now so we will see Dr. Boynton's directions at that point! I'm still very happy with deciding to go through with the surgery!

Dr. James Boynton and his staff have been top notch so far! They have provided me all of the care and information that I have needed and have been great about answering follow up questions since the surgery. Though my interactions with Dr. Boynton seemed a bit brief, he made me feel totally comfortable throughout the process and so far I'm very pleased with the results of my operation at this early juncture.
