I found Dr. LoMonaco here on Real Self and choosing him for my revision surgery was the best decision I ever made and worth every penny.
I had my first augmentation done back in 2008 and after years of yo-yo dieting, lots of weight loss, and cosmetic work that was never that great to begin with, I was in major need of a revision surgery. There was no way I was going back to my original surgeon so I turned to the Internet in my quest for a new one. After I had my consultation with Dr. LoMonaco, I knew right away that I had found the doctor I wanted to use. I was there for over 2 hours and amazed at the amount of 1-on-1 time he spent with me answering my questions and talking about my goals for my revision surgery. He even offered to refer me to other surgeons if I didn't want to use him because he felt I had a particularly difficult case and needed to be very selective about who I chose to perform my surgery. I paid my deposit that same day and had full confidence that he could give me the look I always wanted. I also decided to have labiaplasty done at the same time as my breast augmentation.
My surgery and recovery all went according to plan. Dr. LoMonaco and his staff are incredible with patient care and follow-up. Someone from his office called me every morning and afternoon to check on me for the first week. It was such a different experience compared to my first surgery in 2008 where I felt like the doctor never wanted to hear from me again once he had my money. I've probably had 10 post-op visits at this point, all included in the original cost of my surgery. At 4 months post-op, the results are even better than I expected. Especially the labiaplasty, it looks amazing and was a HUGE self-confidence boost. My gynecologist has commented on how impressed she is with his work every time she has seen me since the surgery. There are no scars, the swelling has completely gone away, and it just looks like I never even had anything done down there.
I can't say enough good things about Dr. LoMonaco's work and bedside manner. He is truly an amazingly doctor who cares about his patients and wants them to be happy with their results. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make sure you're taken care of. There have been numerous times when Destiny and Shayla have called/texted me after hours to answer my questions or provide care instructions. Vicky is fantastic as well. All the girls in the office are very personable and friendly.
I would highly recommend to Dr. LoMonaco to anyone, especially those who are having surgery after significant weight loss. If I decide to have additional cosmetic work done in the future, he's the only doctor I'd even consider.
