Breast Explantation Dilema Help Me Girls Please

UPDATED FROM MaryTexas27

3 weeks

$7,500
Tomorrow I will be 3 weeks post-op. Emotionally I am much more stable, the first two weeks were very rough for me, I had mixed feelings. I don't miss the implants and I certainly feel more free without them, it is like if I have a huge weight off my shoulders, I feel relieved. But I don't like my results, I don't feel comfortable with the huge scars under my crease. There is nothing my doctor could do about it since my original scars were big, the problem was that the original doctor did them huge since he said my skin was very tight. I am putting castor oil at night to moisturize and silicone sheets during the day. I hope this help!

Also, I had a capsulectomy which I am not sure it was the best decision. I read most girls are doing great after a couple of weeks post explant. I still feel very sore and I have numbness on my breast skin, my doctor said it is swelling, would you know how long does the swelling last? It is three weeks, my nipples are oversensitive and my skin is numb, this scares me :( I hope it is only swelling and the feeling comes back!

Also, when I have like a double crease since my original doctor lowered my crease too much so that is why my scar is so low, would you know if the fluffy part between the scar and the crease will adheare to my skin? Has anyone had this problem before?

Girls thank you so much for all your support, when I am down, I keep returning to read your comments and words of encouragement, this is not an easy journey but is great to help each other make it better! I hope I had never put those plastic bags in my body in the first place, I was never a good candidate for this type of surgery, but I was too young to realize that.

Hi, I am wanting to remove my implants as well and am wanting to learn more about capsule removal - pros/cons, etc...and I also had very little breast tissue before getting implants. I am wondering if it would be better to spend the $$$ to go to Dr Feng since she is more experienced and yet would prefer to stay locally. Would you be willing to post an updated pic and also let me know how your sensation is?

pre-explant pic

One side was bottomed out, nipples pointing at different directions, and I had significant rippling which is not visible in this picture. I miss the volume but I don't miss the feeling of having implants inside my body

They will get better and better with time ;) xx
I feel for you girl. I am not happy with how my breasts look either. They are two completely different sizes and shape now. I also have an area caved in under my right nipple. Its just nice to hear your experience and know I'm not alone. Body image is a big pill to swallow- and I agree with you that getting off all the med's made my sadness a little better, but its still hard looking in the mirror. We had surgery on the same day- and I think we are so early in the healing process to know how our bodies will recover. Everyone keeps telling me that things look and seem better with time….I hope that is true for both of us. I think you look beautiful though and I'm so happy to hear that you are getting sensation back in your breasts.
In another 5 weeks or so you will a lot happier about your shape, your breasts have been through the war with the implant removal and compression. As soon as you are given the ok, start wearing soft unstructured bras so they can recover and find their new shape. In 5 weeks from now you'll have a far more realistic picture of what they are going to look like. In the meantime, gently massage with coconut oil.
by soft unstructured bras do you mean sports bras?
Happy new year! Not really sports bras that bind, but something that has softer fabric which won't compress.
if you find any that you love, let me know a brand and style- I'll take all the pointers I can get :)
Happy New Year!!!

Products for better recovery

Hi girls,

Those of you who are on this journey with me or who have recovered already I would like to ask for your advise...

I am 1 1/2 week of recovery and I am still wrapped all day and night. I am supposed to remove the wrap in 5 days and I would like to now what products you recommend from flulffing and better recovery, I haven't applied any products yet.

My breasts haven't changed at all since they are compressed 24/7, I will post progress pictures when I removed this annoying wrap and I see my breast adjusting, which I really hope they do. Any suggestions for me?

Thank you all!!!! xx :)

Hi there! I've been using coconut oil, castor oil, sesame oil ( not toasted) and coco butter. You don't have to use all of those oils.. But I highly recommend coconut oil! I use the sesame oil in the shower and massage my entire body with it. It's soothing and it gets your lymphs running. Always massage towards the heart :) all of the oils help with elasticity. Coco butter is really great for putting on last. You can also use olive oil, just make sure everything is organic. Honey, is great for helping to heal skin as well. It needs to be raw and unfiltered or, Manuka honey. Keep drinking a lot of purified or distilled water as water heals your body beautifully. Eat honey as well. I've been waking up and drinking hot water. (Not scalding) with freshly squeezed lemon and honey. I like to add turmeric to mine ( doesn't taste great) but turmeric is an amazing healing spice. Let me keep thinking for ya :)
Thanks for the advice hun!
I think you will end up with more "shape" and your tissue will firm up. Many of us who have significant "fluffing" is because immediately post-explant we were so saggy and droopy, but the breasts go up some as they heal. You are so perky that I can't see where they will go up any, but yes compression smashes them and they seem to "pop out" after a few weeks of being unbound. For products - again, you have such great, youthful looking skin, and from your pics you don't seem to have bad stretch marks. A good oil or lotion for massage (once you are healed enough) will be great for you, you don't appear to need heavy duty stretch mark cream etc. I think you look really phenomenal, and other than relaxing and just giving yourself time to heal you have what I consider to basically be perfect boobs! I don't see much intervention required, you look great.
Thanks Luv!!! You helped me so much in my decision to explant. I will always be grateful to you for your kind words and guidance based on your experience on this journey. I send you a big ciber hug!
