Hi everyone...I had signed up here last year before I got my BBL but signed off due to life getting just to busy with work and school...you know how time-consuming it can get when on this site...would have to literally pull myself away :). So here's me journey with my BBL experience. I had my BBL and BA in Oklahoma...doc is great with BA but now I'm realizing he probably does not have enough experience with BBL (I'm sure one day he will with the popularity its becoming but just now now). My butt looked good for the first 5 months but I didn't really get the projection or fullness I was wanting and the hip area looked good just while they were swollen...when the swelling went down so did the little hips he gave me :(. I've seen in pics to Cortez's office so I'm hoping to hear back from him next week. it sucks as while I know I have gain weight in the last few months I may have to gain more to achieve the results I want. Judging by Dr Cortez pics and videos I realize I should have went to him in the 1st place (so much for trying to stay close to home- didn't pay off in the long run). I'm 5'4 and currently about 149 pds...any advise on going with round 2 and Dr Cortez?

I cant wait to see my results either lol! Im waiting on his office to get back with me...sent email last week and was told it takes about 3-5 days to review and get back with me..so Tuesday afternoon I will be calling again if no word back. I'd like to get in as soon as possible. I should have went to him the 1st time around...lesson learn to go the an expert in that exact field (love my breasts but feel like I could have got the results from 1st bbl with doing squats :(
Maybe he can squeeze me in if any cancelations pop up...maybe I'll be there around the time you go in August :). Will be exciting to see your results...his pics and videos show just what an expert he is.

Hi Doll, I am also doing a round 2 with Dr.Cortes. I saw him last December for my 1st bbl. he is a great surgeon and you're going to love your results.

I go to dr.cortes in 6 days! June 2nd. From what I can tell he's the only surgeon I've noticed has very very consistent results and the ONLY surgeon (out of dozens I talked to) that I feel like he is able to give me what I want. While most surgeons only take out the max 5 liters (5liters is max without an overnite hospital stay) I've found out that dr cortes takes 7+ liters Bc u have to stay in the hospital overnite using him and it's included in the fees. He said he takes everything that he can out and puts everything he can back in! So good luck! I'm sure you will love him!

Mnl1985, how exciting for you!!! this time next week you will be packing a nice backside :). ... I finally got ahold of Lucy today and she told me that I need to gain more weight and to check back in a few months :(...sucks as I know I'm almost the weight I was when I first got it done.

That is correct about Dr.Cortes. He will suck you out dry if you ask for it. He will create a beautiful "you" real soon doll. I am excited for you :-)

That's what I heard! I sure hope so cuz he has 5 hours to suck it all outa me! I can't say I'm not freaking out tho! I'm so damn worried that my stretchmarks is what's guna cause me to have a shitty result! I haven't found anyone on here that's had a bbl that had stretchmarks and didn't have a tummy tuck :-/ so if u run across a profile who had a bbl without a tummy tuck and has stretchmarks PLEASE let me know! Oh and hope u saw the message about us not having to go to Conroe at all follow ups are now in Houston at that office!

Mnl1985, I'm 5'4 and about 150 now...my best weight to be at is about 135 which I haven't been in years so I was hoping I'd have enough now. Its going to be exciting seeing your results and yes I've heard the same what you & Redgoddess68 confirmed that he'll take out the max in can in a safe manner. SIGN ME UP!!!
Redgoddess, when are you going back for your round 2? I was told today to check back in a few months with my weight and if I was good then they tried to get me in soon after. I also spoke with Dr. Salama office and rep said you have to wait a year with to get round 2...so I guess it will be almost the same with Cortez and Im thinking I'll just wait it out for Cortez since I LOVE what I'm seeing.

Yeah I heard we got to go to Houston for followups now. Im good with that since im staying in a hotel in Houston. He booked u for 5 hours...that sounfs good. He booked me only for 3 hrs. I hope thats enough time for my bbl. What u think?

They say wait 1 year but it will be just about 8 months for me. I can't wait an entire year for my revision. That's impossible! I am tired of what im seeing in the mirror. I need perfection asap hun :-)

Im at 8 months now and all I could keep asking was did he really LOOK at my pics as im seeing fat on my body. I wish I could get an opportunity to Skype him so I can show him better but didn't sound like I was going to get past Lucy on that one.

I'm not sure. But since you already had a bbl and you just need "touch ups" and he's not starting from the beginning he may not need as long. Are you wanting a lot done?

Girl do NOT give up! Keep trying!! She can't stop u from making a consultation even if u DO need to gain weight. Just call and say you would like to set a virtual or phone consultation. And if she recognizes who you are and says anything just say you know you need to gain weight for a bbl but u would still like to schedule a consultation. [RS bleep] if she still won't let or gives u a hard time tell her u are thinking of getting some other work done too! Shoooot when I want something I do NOT stop until I get it lol once I'm determined u may as well give in! Don't give up girl! Esp if you think you have enough fat and the pics do u no justice in showing it!!

I guess since I already had a bbl last year it might not be such a complicated surgery after all for me this time around. I am wanting quite a few things done. Lucy did state all i would need is 3 hours in the surgery room. I emailed her late last night expressing everything I want done even though she knows what I want. I am just nervous about the whole thing because I want to look pretty close to my wish pics in my BBL Part 2 RS page. I have high hopes for my next surgery.

Redgoddess68-Yes I did...paid in full and booked at the recovery house...I'm ready!
MNl1985- I'm paying $5,000 for round 2 (not a revision)...the recovery house is somewhat expensive @ $2,000 for 6 days but then again I'm going alone so that's going to help me out in just not worrying about getting around and such. They pick up & drop back off at airport, provide a nurse/aid at the recovery house, lodging, breakfast, 4 massages (I didn't get any massages with last BBL), garment, meds, transportation to appts for massages/doctor and store run. I can say so far I've been very please with the process; Anaily (Anna) from Vanity contacted me the very next day after I send email request about BBL, got me the apt dates I needed for my vacation time (which was barely 3 weeks away then), very through in explaining the process. She's been very personable which made it easier to talk to her as well as communication has been great by phone and email- no issues reaching her or getting responses. And price-wise I am actually happy about as Cortez quoted me $10K... yes I know he does great work so I'm sure its worth it but on the same note Fisher's work looks pretty good too. Im at peace with my decision and ready to get it done and over with :)

I haven't seen Dr.Fisher's work, i should check it out. I think you got a great quote hun. I am excited to see your results too. I wish Dr.Cortes had a recovery house too but he doesn't. It would make things way easier on us Cortes dolls. Last year when i saw him he did tell me he would look into it. Dr.Cortes's rates are a bit pricy but he does amazing work. I wish you the best recovery and results from your 2nd bbl.

Thank you! Yes Cortez is a bit pricey but I was prepared to pay that as I love what I see with his results. Luckily I love what I'm seeing in Fishers results too. The bbl world is lucky to have several really good docs to choose from :)

I will go check out Fisher's results now. I am just curious. Where I live in Canada there arent really any surgeons who are as qualified as the surgeons in the US. I have to travel so far for my booty.

True true!!! That holds true in alot of the states too as most are not up on the bbl like texas, cali, Nyc & miami....oh the lengths we go for beauty...far and wide lol

I'm going to Dr. Cortes in Texas and you know what they say about Texas " Everything is bigger in Texas" lol my thought is go big or go home!

See my review in "brazilian butt lift revision" for round 2 with Fisher. Met him today for consult...really nice, laid back all the while being professional. He told me I do not have enough fat for my wish pics but should have enough to round out my hips and lower butt...not what I wanted to hear but really respect that he was honest about it instead of just telling me what I want to hear. I'm staying hopeful he'll be able to pull a decent amount of good fat though :)

Good luck on your sx! I am on the smaller side also trying to gain weight! Hopefully you will get closer to what you want!

How long did you wait before you had your Revision? I'm scheduled for Round 2 with Fisher 7 mos Post Op my first BBL. Vanity told me that as long as I'm 6 mos Dr Fisher will do it. A friend saw Dr Fisher today & he suggested 9 to 12 months.

I was 8 months when I had the 2nd round. ..I just called when I was 7 months and arranged it for the next month. I live out of state so I didn't have a pre-appointment. When I met him couple days before the surgery for pre-op he did said if I hadn't come from out of town he would have told me to wait another few months. ..but that was only because he though I didn't have enough weight to get good results. He surprised us both though as he got more than we thought I had. Love my results and hindsight I would have waited if had insisted on it as he is GREAT at sculpting. Good luck to you!

Thanks soo much. I too am coming from out of town & just don't want to get turned away. Just nervous since I've heard so many negative things about Vanity (not the doctors). My coordinator claims she showed him my pics & told him that I recently had a BBL & he was OK with it & said gain a few more pounds. Thanks again

Girl me too I'm afraid I won't have enough GOOD fat to harvest. I am only getting uuupper and lower back and upper and lower belly... I had a round 1 and not as much fat now.

Fisher - happy with my results!
Had surgery yesterday so not quite up to alot of pics yet. FISHER did not ladies from recovery house this week to include me and all are looking good. He was able to pull 2700 cc from me and put 900 on each side...which was pushing it with my tight skin....LOVE my results so far:)
