My motivation was not to correct my face, but to look like myself, 10 years ago. I wanted to have more youthful and firmer skin. I did a lot of research and knew that a 'mini' lift would not do the trick. I also researched board certified surgeons, asked a lot of questions, until I decided on Dr. Mark Glasgold.

I'm glad you're happy with your experience so far. What supplies have you been using to stay comfortable as you heal?

Right now, at 10 days out, just Motrin. Although I used cold packs frequently the first week, not for the swelling, but because it felt so good on my face. My face often feels warm post-surgery, and the cold packs are a relief.

Very small amount of swelling on my face and under my chin. Nothing that a scarf can't conceal. The chin will take a little more time, since everything settles at the bottom of the face. However, I've observed that what seems obvious to me, other people don't notice at all!

I swelled under my chin a bit, but it resolved within two to three weeks. Do you like your facelift so far in general? I am very pleased with mine and I'm about four and half weeks out.
