I studied my condition for over 2 years and saw 4 other doctors. I had a huge hyperthropic scar on my navel from spitting sutures after a laparoscopic procedure which was so infected, I actually had nasty excretions from it. I am also diabetic and hypertensive with skin around my belly like a tire tube. Dr. Brown treated me with kindness and spoke to me in a manner that was not at all condescending like the other doctors I saw. She took time to explain to me the risks and together we arrived at what I felt what a realistic, safe and reassuring plan to mitigate my condition. Her staff at the surgery center was super supportive and calming. She never made me feel special and most of all, that she genuinely cared for me. The result of the 'tummy tuck' procedure was more than I expected. She changed my life. Dr. Brown also occasionally gives me a touch up with fillers and botox. I love that she listens to me, tells me the risks, results and procedures. That alone calms me down so that all those syringe sticks were very bearable simply because I was a relaxed patient. I feel very confident and reassured as her patient. I cannot say enough good things about her. My incision is amazing and is still changing after 2 years...I am Asian so scars heal differently for me. I highly recommend her. I am hope to see her again soon. I am 57 years old and happy with my looks....and so content that I have Dr Brown to go to when I need a little tweaking. She's simply the best. (The date of my procedure is a close guess....)
