Shopping with the girls!!
WORTH IT$12,000
Went to Nordstrom's yesterday to get properly fitted. Highly recommend! Those ladies know what they're doing! Measured at a 36D! Yippee!! Now that I'm dropping more, I was feeling a little small, but my size is bigger than my goal so I'm very happy. :) She recommended Wacoal and Chantelle bras because they have side support for augmented boobs. She said I will need it so they don't end up in my arm pits! I bought a couple of bralettes I can wear now and one pretty underwire bra I just loved for later because the sales lady said my size won't change. Also found another bikini for my trip!! I'm a happy girl!! :))

I've decided that we are pretty much boob twins!! Haha Both my pre op pics & post op results are so similar! So of course I think you look great. ;-) I have also thought a couple of times that I could tell on one of breasts where my tissue is vs the implant. I don't think it's enough to be captured in a photo though. I bet it gets better over the next few weeks.

Happy to have a boobie twin to share experiences with! Interesting our results are so similar even though mine are round and yours are anatomical. I saw in your last post you're wearing a regular bra. What size are you?

I can wear both 34D's & 36C's. I am kind of on the cusp for the band sizes. I haven't tried any 36D's on bc I feel like the C's fit pretty well. I think the 34D & 36C usually have the same cup size.

Almost 3 weeks update...getting used to the new additions!
It will be 3 wks from my surgery on Monday and hitting the 2 week mark was a huge turning point. I was able to start doing lower body cardio again but no running or jumping. I've been doing the ellipse machine and feeling great! Sleeping has been good too. I'm sleeping on both sides and don't feel the need to protect my boobs from accidental brushing. I still wake up with a slightly firm boobs, more so on the right, but it's not painful. I can use my arms now to push myself out of bed and can reach up over my but can feel slight stretching under my arms.
The dark bruising I had is mostly gone now but I can still see some yellowish spots that have not full faded and it's still slightly tender underneath my right boob. They are dropping ever so slowly but the right is much slower than the left. I've read many who have this so I'm not concerned. My right pec muscle is so much stronger than my left because I play tennis, so it doesn't surprise me the muscle on that side is going to take a lot longer to relax. Leftie is doing great though and even started to fluff a bit because it feels very soft and squishy and is starting to act and feel like a real boob! It feels bigger in my hand too because it's not being squeezed as much by the muscle. One thing I have noticed is that as the implants are dropping into my lower pole, I can kind of see my breast tissue vs the implant. I can kind of feel where the implant is too now that the swelling is down and I can differentiate what is my breast tissue. I'm assuming as the implant drops down my own Breast tissue will stretch over it? Is that how it works??
I'm still just wearing the lightly padded bralettes which provide nipple coverage but no support as instructed by my PS and I LOVE the $5 ones from Walmart with lace on the bottom. They are very comfy on my incisions. I went clothes shopping yesterday for my FL trip and was THRILLED with how all the tops and dresses looked on me braless!! I've always had to worry about how to stick padding in dresses I can't wear a bra with, but those days are gone!!
I also tried on some underwire bras for fun and still fit in a 36D even though my swelling is gone!! I can get a 36C on too but it's not as comfy and the wire on the sides didn't seem to be in the right place and the center part of the bra was away from my body very slightly. Is it supposed to be flush against my chest? That's how my 36B bras fit me before. I realized I don't really know how a bra is supposed to fit because I never really wore them for support, just for the padding! Are they supposed to be snug to provide more support? Tips please!!
I've gotten so used to looking at my bigger boobies I've forgotten what my itty bitties looked like so I did side by sides and wow!!! Even not fully settled, they are a huge improvement and exactly the size I wanted! :))

So happy for you and thanks for all the info! Today was first day I felt somewhat normal and even slept partially on my side! I wore a summer dress w no bra today and it was awesome!!!! Think I'm going to get fitted at Victoria secret or something at 4 weeks cause like you I have no idea what my size is ! I wonder if I will always feel implants like this too. Now that soreness is passing I am more aware of them!

Thanks! I wore a spaghetti strap dress with just a shelf bra in it over the weekend too and my boyfriend didn't want me to leave the house!! He also cannot stop staring at them! Who knew boobies were so powerful! Lol

Oh they are quite powerful I'm learning! At Home Depot two guys were so very helpful with my bags of mulch, and they didn't even work there. Then another guy gave me a discount on a purchase I made for no apparent reason. Also very friendly!
These things might pay for themselves over time. Lol!!!

Any update? Would love to hear how things are settling. Any regrets/would you do anything differently if you could do it again? What is your current size?
