I decided I should write this review since reading so many of the reviews here have helped me. And since I haven't seen a lot of reviews from tall women I wanted to have this out there for any others that might be on the fence.
My story is the usual, always large, even when I was an extremely thin late teen. And with perimenopause they've gotten bigger. I'm very athletic (triathlons and bike racing) and on the thin side (size 8 pants but a 12-14 to fit the girls up top.) And with age and the inevitable sagging my breasts were just becoming a part of me that I didn't like. No, they weren't the biggest out there, but they were too big for me, made it hard to find clothes that fit well and well, I was tired of people having conversations with my chest!
I had consultations back in Feb and April 2014 and selected Dr Vath because of his skill, personality and honesty. I scheduled the surgery for December because I didn't want to miss any races over the summer. I just had the surgery on Dec 18th and I have to say, it's been a piece of cake so far. I took a single Percocet the first night and haven't taken any thing since because I really have no pain. There is a mild bruised feeling but even that isn't worth taking something for. I've got sensation in both nipples and no numb spots. Oh, and the size.... Before the operation I kept telling him "small and sporty" and he said he'd do what he could without jeopardizing the overall shape of the breast. And they look perfect! The first day PO I was allowed to remove the padding and shower so I got a good look and I love the size and shape. They've now swelled a little bit but still look excellent. I really couldn't be more pleased. I have my first PO appt on the 26th and I just know I'm going to be gushing about how fabulous Dr. Vath is! I'll update with some pics later.
