“Help Me Decide! - Georgia”
Spent: $0 in Georgia
I have had two children they are 10 and 7.. I am 27 years old and worked out daily for 5 years but this ugly stomach isnt going away! I am also very unhappy with my breasts. Of course my nice husband says I don't need anything but I think he is just telling me that to be nice. I am 5'7 135 lbs. Am I being vain wanting to have this done?

You are not being vain at all! Beleive me...I had my TT done April 8th and I couldn't feel any better than I do now. Its a complete transformation mind and body! I always worked out and couldn't get rid of that last little bit because my abs were separated a few inches from pregnancy which don't go back on everyone and the extra weight that I thought I had was just skin...it won't go away unless you get a tummy tuck... that is what my PS said! He took off 4 lbs of skin! I had my muscles repaired too but no lipo... Check out my post and pics... I say if it makes you happy and you can afford it to do it... Its so worth it!
What's wrong with a little vanity, anyway? Don't we all want to look our best? It sounds like you've worked hard and still haven't achieved the results you want (very common after having children, by the way). So I say, go for it and be happy with your body. We only get this one.
Heck no! There is nothing wrong with wanting to improve yourself.
And trust me when I say this...your hubby will love the results! They are like little boys in toy stores with the new bodies.
So you move forward and keep your chin up. I will cheer you on:)
And you shouldn't. You deserve this so go for it!
I also have 2 boys 7 and 10. I am a little older than you are though (39). I also am 5"7 and weigh the same as you do. I work out all the time and I watch everything I put in my mouth. Regardless of this, I STILL have an annoying pooch that has been there for 10 years since my oldest was born.
My friends think I have LOST MY MIND!!! They say this because I am not overweight. Of course they are not seeing me naked and in my clothes I look fine. The problem is that I cannot wear a bikini and I am sick of the un sexy tankinis and worse one pieces. I seriously have wanted to do this for 10 years and I am finally now getting to do it because I need to have a BA revision. I decided that since I was doing that, I might as well get the TT done at the same time. (I have had saline implants for 16 years and they have been great, but I now need a lift due to damage done while pregnant. I am exchanging them for silicone and getting lift). scheduled for 6/6.
So, I understand completely your hubby thinking you look just fine. That is what they are SUPPOSED to say because they love us right??
I have told mine that the sexier I feel the more sex he gets. Once I said that, it pretty much sealed the deal and he was all for it.
The truth is that I want to do this for me, No one else. I don't want to let 10 more years go by and wish I would have done it while 40.
I am nervous about being out of commission with my kids while healing, especially since they are out of school right now, but once I decided I was going to do it- I wanted to get it over with ASAP.
One issue I am facing (and you may hear this too judging from your pics) is that I don't have enough skin for normal TT, but too much for a mini. This means that my PS may have to make a small vertical scar where my old BB was since there is not enough to pull down.
He gave me the option of doing a float procedure where you keep your old BB, they just move it down. Every pic I saw of this looked completely strange to me, so I decided against it. I think I want to keep my BB where it is. I also want a newly shaped one, not the old stretched out looking one I have now!
I am sure there are many good docs there in Alabama. Go check into it and see what you find out. Doing my BA 16 years ago was what I have called my best purchase ever. I hope that the TT and revision will be as well!
good luck to you!
HUGS
Sommiebreez I am so happy for you!!! Post some pictures so we can see! :)
