I am over 50 years old and having breast reduction because of neck and back pain so I decided to get a tummy tuck because I want to get rid of the stomach roll.LOL
Has anyone had both procedures done?

Hi curlylocs,

Have you tried Milk of Magnesia? That will have you cleaned out in a couple of days. It works like magic. Once you get all cleaned out that will also help with the gas and a little bit of the reflux.

Hang in there it will get better by the week. Yes the pain and swelling are normal right now even though it doesn't't feel so normal.

I finally felt up to typing.My surgery went as scheduled since the sugery I have had acidreflux,gas and now constipation.I have tried stool softeners,oatmeal,fruit and right now nothing is working.I have my good and bad days my boobs looks good and my tummy is still swollen.The pain at times has been exhausting but I am staying positive,I donot know what I would have done without my loving spouse he has been the best.

sunshine it's going to be fine I'm doing great 10 hours to go and still not nervous and I can't believe it. Pray that the drugs work really good for me lol take care and I'll post as soon as I can.

Hey Curlylocs!! Looks like we are schedule for the same day!!!! Woo hoo!! How are you doing? We are only 6 days away now... I am so scared!! I am trying to put on a brave face for my friends and family but woah, Im a basket case! Will you be posting any pictures soon? I will be having a breast lift and TT.

Well Sunshine we have one more day..I am scared and right now I am dealing with a sore throat and snuffy nose,I hope it is my sinus.I can not believe this is happening 2 days before the surgery.I cannot take any medicine because of the surgery.I have been drinking mint tea.I donot know what else to do.How are you doing?

Hey Curlylocs!! How crazy - only 36 hours away! I have been sick as a dog the past 4 days! Hacking cough, clogged ears, sore throat, sneezing, etc. I am so worried that I am going to have to postpone. The PS told me that they could postpone until Thursday if I needed to but I just don't want to have to wait any longer. I am so afraid of the coughing after the surgery. I dont think there is anything else you can do besides drink the tea. Just make sure it is safe! I have been taking Tylenol and Mucinex. Also been loading up on Vitamin C but I dont think its helping much!

Are you so nervous? I am.... I am actually looking forward to taking that Xanax he prescribed for me for tomorrow. He knows how nervous I am!!

Well, hang in there girl and let's try to keep out eye on the prize. Are you staying the hospital overnight?

Hey Sunshine,now I am sneezing :-(
I spoke with the PS told me if I donot have a fever tomorrow they may not postpone the sugery.I am afraid of the sneezing and the congestion.Yes I am nervous and excited at the same time.I will not be staying at the hospital it is outpatient.What time is your surgery? I have to be at the hos. at 7:30a.m

Hi curlylocks,

I had both done and love the results. It is nice to have the breasts off the waist and the tummy off the Who Who!! You will feel amazing.

My breasts were massive and really hurt my back and neck. I went from a size DDD to a full B and love it. Clothes fit and no more pain.

Could you tell me how you picked your doctor? Also will you be posting before and after pics? It is really fun to see the changes as you heal.

Overall I all I am completely happy with my results and would do it all over again if necessary.

Thanks for your response,I am going from a size DDD and my breast really hurt my back and neck.I am looking forward to the new look but still a little nervous.I have days when I am excited and days when I am scared. I have two friends who both used my doctor and I will try to post before and after pictures.

Nervous is normal...it is a big decision but was well worth it to me. I am so glad I did this and could not be any happier.

It feels great to have the smaller breasts and without back, neck and shoulder pain. You feel like a new woman.
