Dr. Bautista is a wonderful plastic surgeon. I was a very nervous about going to a practice in a small town but I am glad I did. I received excellent care and great results. At a few appointments I did feel a little rushed but he will stop and answer all your questions, you just have to be direct. I know time is money so I had my questions prepared and called the office with any others that I thought of afterwards. I never had to wait too long to be seen for an appointment and my surgery day went smooth. They kept me talking and laughing until I went under. His friendly nurses and staff gave me great information on how to care for myself during my recovery and it ended up being easier than I anticipated.
One thing that really stood out to me was when I went in for my 6 week post op appointment and said that I didn't like that I have love handles and didn't before the surgery, so I wanted to get lipo. He could have easily told me that I would need liposculpture, took my money, and I would have agreed in a heartbeat. Instead he looked at my before weight and current weight and said that the extra weight gain was probably due to inactivity from my recovery and the holidays. He was right, I had gained 10 pounds and on my 5' 2" (usually 135lbs) frame that was very noticeable. I found out that sometimes your extra weight will go some where else instead of your stomach. In my case I got it on my sides. He told me that I should get back to my normal activity and start working out when I am fully recovered and they will disappear. He was right, I am 4 months post op and I have a true hour glass figure!

About my results. I have a very low and thin scar that extends from hip bone to hip bone. I have friends that have also had a TT and their scars are either too high or very jagged like a jacko-lantern smile! Mine is easily hidden by even my lowest cut panties and the incision line is very neat and straight. I can wear a g-string and the small thin straps will conceal the scar if placed directly over it. The pain was very minimal because of the type of pain medication that is injected into my tightened abdominal muscles during the surgery. It lasts for about 3 days and then wears off. I didn't start taking the pain pills until the 4 day and after 1 week I was only taking tylenol in the morning because of the back pain you experience by walking hunched over all day. I had too many stretch marks to get rid of them all but all of my extra skin is gone and my stomach is flat as it was before I had my 3 children! Do your research before making this decision! Sometimes your just paying more for the zip code and not the skill!
