5 weeks post op--in pain and unhappy
So it's now been 5 weeks post op. I'm slowly starting to get back into a gym routine. Definitely think I've gained about 5 lbs. I've been eating like crap too. Gotta focus! But, I am depressed and extremely unhappy with my results. My belly looks quite similar to what it looked like before so not sure what the point of the whole tummy tuck was. As far as the breast aug. My left breast still has not budged... Not even a little. My right is falling into place nicely but not my left. It's not just that it looks incredibly odd but it is incredibly painful. It's like my muscle is constantly contracted. My doctor gave me another prescription for skelaxin but it doesn't help. Percocet, Motrin, Tylenol, advil... None of it helps!!!! My next appt isn't for another 2 weeks but I am going to call them Monday morning and insist something be done to help with the pain. I'm back to working both full time jobs plus trying to get back into a gym routine. The pain is unbearable at times and worsens while lying down trying to sleep. This is unacceptable!!! I will post pics... You will see this is not a "subtle" problem.

3 wks post op - wondering what was done during TT
So, as I've stated before, I do believe I suffer from some form of body dismorphia. However, I'm starting to wonder what did my pain and money get me??? My boobs look good with the exception on my left one not wanting to drop. In regards to my TT... What the hell??? I think I look almost the same as before. I know some of it is swelling but I'm pretty confident most of it is not. I'm posting some pics so please comment and let me know what you think. Here are my main concerns:
1) The "dimple" and "line" below my TT scar slightly to the right of midline. What the hell happened here? It's ugly and a very sensitive/ painful area. It feels like someone tugging in a pubic hair ALL the time. Asked my PS about it the first week post op and he said he wasn't sure what it was but we would wait and see after swelling resides. It ain't getting any better!
2) pre op my stretch marks extending about 1/2 inch above my belly button. So I knew going in that I would not "lose" all my stretch marks. However, I find it odd that my stretch marks still extend to the top of my NEW belly button. How is this even possible???
3) my "fat roll/bubble" that sat around my old belly button seems to still be there, now it just sits along top my tummy tuck scar. My dr said he would "spot lipo" this area so that it matched the same fascia thickness as the lower abd skin he would be attaching it to. When I woke up from surgery I was told he didn't do that because it wasn't needed. Well.... I'm thinking it WAS needed. The proof is in the pudding... My belly pudding.
4) the skin above my TT incision is SUPER thin!!! I feel like I'm touching my insides when I touch it. It's like paper. This scares me!
So needless to say I'm a little unhappy and questioning my decision. My dr has great bedside manner, office staff is wonderful, great reviews and awards, AND I know 2 people personally who were his patients with great results and high regard for him. So what happened???? Am I defective???
My next appt is Friday and you better believe I will be voicing these concerns with a more serious tone. I'm not going to allow then to brush me off with "it's still too soon." I realize that it is soon and there is still healing and not to jump to the conclusion of needing a revision until a couple months post op. However, I need them and others to acknowledge these are legitimate concerns.

Hey, you are still very early in your healing. Before you get discourage give yourself more time. Then after that period is over if you are still dissatisfied you can always modify. Keep taking your vitamins, drink lot of fluid and give your bosy what it needs to heal. Keep your chin up, girl. good luck!
I agree it is very early to judge properly. I still get down days and feel super swollen and fat and I am 6 1/2 weeks PO......
But I have to say I would not be happy if my BL looked like that on the bottom but I also don't have implants so it probably is involving the implant not settling yet. If it doesn't fix itself, I would express that to him for sure about the squareness. You have come so far on your weight loss journey and your body transformation - don't be too impatient! You look fabulous!!!
