I have my TT scheduled for next Monday after going back and forth with the pros and cons for the past two weeks. I have three kids, 10yr, 9yr, and a 3month old. I got really big with my second child and got really bad stretch marks along with loose skin. I've been trying for years to get rid of it and have finally come to the conclusion that i should just get a tummy tuck. I work out a lot, I've lost all my baby weight but I still have this gut that won't go away. I even went all the way down to 120lbs and it still didn't make any difference. I play volleyball and I am an amatuer boxer. I know it shouldn't bother me but I constantly see women with two pieces on, weither on the beach or in the gym. It's like we are on the same level but we aren't because I can't show off my stomach. I don't even let my husband see my stomach, I am that ashamed of it. The only thing I am primarily worried about is the down time. But I've been told that I should recover fairly quick because I'm not obese. I plan to go back to work either thursday or friday of the same work I have the surgery. Yea, I know its crazy but I don't really have a choice. My job are really sticklers about taking days off. So, I'll let you know how that goes. Wish me luck. I'll put up some before pictures soon.

I reschedule my surgery for April 30. This gives me more time to lose weight, I read that I should be close to my ideal weight when I get a tummy tuck. I'm at 138lbs right now I want to be at least 130lbs when I have my surgery or 125lbs. So I'll keep you posted.

Well I did it post op day 1. I was actually able to sleep last night with drugs. My husband woke me up every couple hours and made me walk and massaged my legs he is great. The pain is tolerable I just feel super sore, my back and throat hurt. I saw my belly when I was drugged up but I think it looks good. Going to see my doctor today at 10am. Will update

Po day 3 pain is better was able to just take Tylenol but I use the strong meds to sleep. Saw my doctor this morning said everything looks good and the drains should come out Thursday which would be a mile stone because they are bothersome. I am walking a little straighter every day and every day gets a little easier. I will post a pic but I don't see much of a change from my po day 1 pics. Good night happy healing!

PO day 4. Today still have aches and pains but its mostly my back. Had to cough a few times today that was not fun at all. I went back to work today, I know you must think I'm crazy but I didn't have much of a choice. It was a very long day to say the least but it wasn't to bad. I sat at my desk most of the day. Go home relaxed a little bit and then took a shower it felt good. Now I plan to go to bed early and get a lot of sleep. Keep u posted.

PO 5 Feeling better standing a little straighter. I can get in and out of bed on my own. I had two BM yesterday with no issues. I am driving by myself and i took a shower yesterday by myself. Little by little I am getting better. I see my PS tomorrow, hopefully i get these drains out. It will be one less thing to worry about.

po 11 and I feel pretty good. po day 5 i was off the strong meds only using them at night but tylenol during the day and then po 7 i stopped using the pain meds all together only when my back started to hurt. The drains came out on my one week po appt, which was a little uncomfortable when they took them out but nothing major their were both done in a minute. That was kind of my turning point of when i started to feel a lot more comfortable. Still swollen and a bit brusied up from lipo but I feel good. Hopefully at my two po appt I can down grade to spandex because this binder isn't comfortable and its really bulky. We'll see what happens. I'll post up some pics in a little while. Happy healing.

My doctor was great but I waited so long. They told me to come in at noon and then called back to come in at 930am I didn't start surgery until 3pm and left at 7pm I was fasting from the night before so I was super hungry and started getting a head ache. The staff was really nice though.

Glad your healing well. you sound like me ill be back at work po5 not by choice either. May I ask how are you hiding your drains while your at work

It's funny actually I'm wearing maternity clothes. I wore dress pants that have the belly band so the drains are not dangling all over the place and I wear a baby doll type of shirt that is tight on the top and loose towards the bottom is hides it even more. My only problem is that I'm still hunched over a bit so I told my co workers I pulled my back over the weekend doing crossfit boot camp which is believable since I exercise a lot lol I only told one trusted co worker and she helps me get stuff here and there which is really nice of her. My drains should come out Thursday which would be one less thing to worry about. I hope your surgery goes well too and you heal fast. I have to keep telling myself that it's going to get better and that this is only temporary set back lol

Kirin2126, that's funny I was thinking of using my maternity clothes and belly bands that I still have..I just had my son 14months ago and I planned on saying the samething if I'm still hunched over LOL great minds think alike LOL

Im glad to know your ok u look great dr omulepu is a work of art!!!!!....and its good your movin around and tell hubby to continue to rub those legs in a downward position this will prevent u from having blood clots.....i just dont want what happend to me to happen to u ....u are doing great happy healing sweetie......south beach here we come!!!,
