Leaning toward explant, but considering revision to much smaller

Three weeks after deflation

I'm super happy and have no regrets. My skin it tightening up and I look so much smaller overall. My left breast is still much larger than my right, which I expected. I've had no problems except for the valves on the bags get annoying at times. I can manipulate them to reposition them, but I know I won't be able to do that forever because the capsule is going to continue to get smaller. I LOVE the feel of my breasts... they're super soft and real! I plan to keep losing weight then make my decision to take the bags out or replace with small implants... I have 15 lbs. to go!

Can I ask who your Dr is? Also, what did she charge for the deflation? Do you have to have surgery to remove the bags? thanks :)

I saw Christa Clark in Folsom. She's awesome. The deflation was only $100. It takes about 15 minutes. Yes, I would have to have surgery to remove the bags but it can be done under local/twilight. That would cost about $2500. I would end up with a new scar because I don't want to be cut around the nipple again... my nerves are coming back after the deflation! I'm still conflicted about whether to remove or replace. I think deflation is a great route to take if you're not sure what to do. My real breasts are taking shape after just a few weeks... I honestly had no idea how they would look after 14 years. Good luck with your decision!

I have actually debating the same thing, my breast implants were always too large for my taste, but my husband loves them. I have to do what I feel is right for me, but I think I would miss the full breast, I just don't want a large breast. So tired of buying x-large shirts so my boobs will fit in them! Your's look great, by the way! I have not talked to any surgeons yet, but this forum is so helpful!

Yeah our stories sound similar! Have you made any decisions yet?

No, not yet. I am having upper eyelid surgery first. (been waiting a long time). Then I'll probably have these puppies deflated. I will be discussing it with my plastic surgeon in a couple weeks.

Deflation is done!

I am thrilled!! It was a super easy process, and I'm surprised by how I look. I will continue to get smaller as my skin tightens, and they couldn't get all the saline out but they got most of it. I'm pretty excited!

I can't wait to have the weight of the saline out! It's going to be the end of an era... an era of big boobs... but I'm excited to start the new chapter. I'm super anxious to look smaller overall. My plan is to lose 20 lbs. while my skin tightens up, and make my final decision once I reach my goal weight.
