I'm 26 years old and I've had 2 C-sections...

I'm 26 years old and I've had 2 C-sections as well as scaring from a gallbladder surgery all within 3 years. I currently weigh 185lbs. I've been up to 230 with my pregnancies. I'm not athletic but I would say that I'm not just all fat. I've worked out throughout my life and I've managed to stay between 160 to 180lbs. My comfortable weight was at about 145lbs. My fat, as clearly visible in my photos posted, is very uncomfortable. Running is more of a hassle then a joyful workout considering every time I run, my 'fat roll' just knocks my pants down and throws my shirt up. I can lose weight in other areas but my lower belly just stays there. I have 2 daughters, a 2 year old & a 5 year old. My 2 year old was born with a very rare'birthmark' on her face that was later found to be called a 'vellus hair folice lesion.' It went from her lower lip to her ear and she had to have 2 reconstructive plastic surgeries, (5 months & again at 2 yrs) to remove it. My surgery was postponed considering the factors with my baby girl. I've been seeing my PS since I was 8 years old because I'm a kehloid developer. My PS has had to repair scars from previous incisions throughout my life. I began seeing her for a TT in 2007 and decided I wanted to have one more baby before doing it. Now, I think I'm ready...I just hope everyone else is! My husband is very supportive of my choice to have a TT and is willing to care for our girls after my surgery. I am a worry wart though and am concerned how my girls will be affected if they find out later that their mother had unneccessary surgery... My surgery is set for March 21st of this year...just a little over a month away!

My surgery is getting closer and closer. My nerves...

My surgery is getting closer and closer. My nerves are getting harder to deal with. I have watched WAY too many shows and read WAY too many articles on what can go wrong for a TT. Last week, I saw a show on Dr. G, Medical Examiner where a woman died from a blood clot after having a TT....really?! I mean, I heard it could happen but how ironic is it to have a show about it exactly one month before my surgery?! I pray that everything will go smoothly and I won't have any health problems or fatal problems....from having an elective surgery to basically cut off my fat roll...Something so simple, yet so complicated. I wonder if anyone else freaks out as much as I am these past few days...I still have about 3 weeks before my surgery. I just have to keep it together a little longer.

I had my Pre Op yesturday and it went....well. As...

I had my Pre Op yesturday and it went....well. As the nurse began to explain to my husband of how he would have to "pull the pain pump out slowly from the belly" I turned completely white and couldn't quite figure out if I was going to pass out or throw up. It just hit me all of a sudden that, this IS about to happen!! I'm filled with excitement; good and bad excitement.
My doctor informed me that although I elected to not have the lipo, she automatically performs the lipo to get the flat stomach (that my belly has NEVER had). I must include this because I lacked to say that when I was 10 years old, I weighed in at almost 200lbs and was a little shy of 5ft. My mom had went through a divorce when I was 8 years old and I suppose I just wanted to eat my way back to happiness. I lost to about 120lbs by the time I was 11 years old and became a healthy eater. Needless to say, that belief that young skin just pops back into place is not always the case because at the age of 12, I had sagging skin from the fast and dramatic weight loss. Depression is serious, even at the age of 10...just saying.
So, I have a butt load of medications I have to have filled, I've had all my drugs denied of their use for the next couple months starting yesturday and I can't have any soda (Diet Pepsi is my addiction) at all until the doc gives me the okay. I think it's going to be really rough for me as well as anyone around me until my fabulous doctor gives me the okay to drink up again. Caffine is bad...I do know this...but it's so good for me! :-(
Surgery is in just 8 days...here we go fat roll!!

My doctor is the best! I had kehloid scars removed and steriod shots for when I was 8 years old. I put 4 stars for bedside manner because to me, as a more laid back person, I feel she is SUPER professional and joked, none. But that's good because I'm glad she didn't joke about my belly! I LOVE IT!
