Tummy Tuck W/ Lipo at Age 39 After 1 Pregnancy - Bal Harbour, FL

I'm so happy I finally decided to do this.......

I'm so happy I finally decided to do this.... after many panic attacks and sleepless nights trying to make up my mind. I was absoultely petrified of the thought of general anasthitia. It has not been an easy process; recovery is MUCH slower than I expected and I've had a few set-backs with infection and constipation, but I'm well on my way to recovery now. For sure, anyone considering a tummy tuck with lipo should plan on staying home for a good month. My energy level has been very low and I get tired/drained very easily. I've had slowly get back into my routine, and 21 days post-op I am at about 50% performance. Good Luck to anyone considering this option!

So, I'm almost at my 1 month post-op mark and I feel good. Still have a lot of swelling concentrated on my lower abdomen and pelvi area. Still can not stand up 100% yet because the belly weight drags me down. My back and flanks are still tender and swollen from the lipo, but it doesn't hurt at all unless touched. I still get tired easily, but I force myself to walk as much as possible during the day. By about 4pm I'm drained and ready to call it a day.

My sister got me a wonderfully fitting compression garment that she used after her surgery and it shapes beautifully. You can check it out at Design Veronique I use style #853H

Today marks my one month post-op!!!!!!! and I can finally walk straight-up. Still have enough swelling not to be able to fit into my jeans yet. Yesterday I got another 100 cc's of fluid drained from my lower abdomen and I feel better. I hope the swelling goes away soon....I want to enjoy my new figure and wear normal clothes again. I've been limited to dresses and sweatpants.

I hit my 2 month post-op mark and I feel GREAT! I still have lower swelling but I do fit into my jeans now. My lipo areas are still very tender but my hip-to-hip cut is painless. I'm so happy I went through with it! I can't wait for all the swelling to go away so that I can see the final results.
