I'm 35 years old and I weigh about 92lbs. I've never been heavy, I don't eat a lot nor do I eat badly, and I work out regularly. Despite this, nothing I do seems to get rid of my cellulite. I've had cellulite since I was 14, maybe younger but that's when I first remember noticing it. Through the years it's gotten worse. I hate wearing a bikini and short shorts. It's not hereditary because my mom doesn't have it and neither does my sister (who is heavy set unlike me). I've tried creams, suction/laser treatments (vela smooth and another one that I don't remember the name of) and nothing worked. I've googled treatments for it for years and was sooo happy to come across Cellulaze. I researched it and actually through the reviews on this site, I made the decision to try it.
It will be 8 weeks on Thursday since I had the procedure done. I will admit that the first few weeks I was feeling disheartened. I looked the same if not worse. I had holes on my body, bandages, I had to wear that stupid compression garment etc. I just was not feeling good about the whole thing. But as time continues to pass I am feeling better and am noticing a difference. My skin feels tighter and smoother. And although I still have cellulite it doesn't look the same at all. I am hopeful that with time it will continue to improve and look better.
I continued to wear the garment because I felt better in it. Also because I had developed some hard pellets under my skin (normal part of healing process) and my doctor advised me to continue to wear it. The pellets have mostly all disappeared. My thighs still feel sore and are sensitive to touch and I'm often itchy. The holes are closed up but have not completely healed. I experienced little to no bruising at all (which I thought was weird). The procedure itself was not bad at all. The numbing of the thighs hurt me a lot though. I drained for about 2/3 days. And I was back at the gym in exactly 1 week. I'm sure I could've done a light work out sooner but I thought I should give myself some recuperating time. I was able to do and perform my regular duties the next day after the procedure but it wasn't easy or comfortable to sit, lay down, or get in and out of cars.
I went back today for my second follow up and I got to see pictures of my before and after and you can see a noticeable difference (I had the back of my thighs done and my butt). Of course I'm hopeful that it will continue to improve because my results aren't yet at where I'd like them to be. My doctor also did a laser treatment on me today to help prevent scarring where the holes were made. Although they didn't look so bad, they were really bothering me.
I will continue to wait and hope that eating right and exercising regularly will help me to get the results I want to achieve.
I will post my pics when my doctors office forwards them to me.
I hope this review will help people to make an informative decision as to if this procedure is worth it because the reviews on this site ultimately were the reason why I decided to go through with it and I'm very happy that I did!
