Hi there. A TT is something i have wanted for 15 years. I allways said that if ever i could i could afford it i would, so here goes!!. After thousands of hours(literally), of scouring the net, and magazine articles, my countdown begins....

Oh thankyou SO much for that!. I am actually feeling fantastic aswell. Yesterday was a really good day, as i wandered around my local shopping centre, and bought myself some lovely new TIGHT fitting tops.it was the first day really that i had been on my feet for that length of time, as i am strictly following my surgeon's guidelines to progress slowly and gradually. This is so hard for me to do, as i am never still, and just cannot bear to sit and do nothing. I think you've got to listen to your body,which i think is the best guide. even the binder is more bearable now. I'm 24 days post op now, and was advised to wear it 23 hours a day for six weeks, so that's what i will do. I think it's worse at first because it pulls on your scar, and restricted movement doesn'nt help in getting it on and off. I'm so glad to hear that the rest of you seem to be progressing well, and i'm sure the website is helping everyone as much as me.

Thankyou very much julie. This op is SOOOOO worth it. I would do it again tomorrow if i had to. I really have not found it too bad at all. You will just be so pleased with your results, and you will NOT be able to belive it's you in the mirror!!!. Good luck, and keep us posted.

Hello girls ~ I feel like I know you all, I've been reading your posts since early Nov and appreciate all the knowledge and understanding you've given me. I'm 51 and mother of three grown kids, my TT and lipo are scheduled for Feb 16th...OMG a week from today! I'm excited and scared to death.

I'm gaining on the list I made from reading your posts, and will finish it up this weekend. My PS requires compression stockings for surgery and the first week post op so those are an addition I hadn't seen anyone talk about, also unfortunately I'll be one of the garment wearing girls......yuck.

LOL..you will be ok.  This is just a preventative measure for blood clots.

I had/have to wear the compression hose. OMG they are a pain to put on. Put once on, they are not that uncomfortable. Mine are mid thigh. Today is the first day I did not wear them as I did not want to put my dad thru that again. But it is day 6 and I am on daily blood thinner injections. So figured I would take today off and just try and walk around more.

Hey England: I am 8 weeks PO tomorrow and am now wearing a waist clincher 23 hours a day. If I don't wear it, I swell bad and I can't wear my clothes the next day. Better to me just to wear it. Bought mine at Sears - cheap.

thanx for the link Gracey.The garment i have to wear is so uncomfortable, but i feel(undressed) without it!!. been back to have my wound checked over today, as it is leaking a little in one place. the ps said it should be fine, but today my belly button has become red and tender for the first time, so i've gotta keep an eye on that aswell. hope you are continuing to improve, x

You definitely look better and I see a huge difference! I am so hunched over still at 8 days post op. How can you stand so straight? Can you walk straight still?

hi there. your results look amazing!!. you're gonna look fantastic. i'm still a little hunched over, especially when i've been sat down for a while. My abdomen is still VERY tight, and i feel like i'm gonna tear myself apart when i stand upright!!.
