I went to see Dr. Kiripolsky to talk about how I could even out my skin tone. I had tons of freckles and also melasma. She examined my skin and recommended a combination approach to treatment. . . A Cosmelan chemical peel and IPL treatment. Each treatment was easy and relatively painless. I had the Cosmelan treatment first - and had only a few days of skin peeling - and then, about a month later, I had an IPL treatment. There was no down-time after my IPL. . . I just looked a little flushed (like I had a mild sunburn) for a few hours afterwards, but I was able to easily cover this up with my powder. After the IPL, my freckles darkened (still easily covered with light makeup), then several days later, they started to fall off like coffee grinds. I never had to stay home and miss any work after either of the treatments.   I didn't think my skin could ever look flawless. . . thought I'd have a lifetime of blotchy brown skin on my face. However, Dr. Kiripolsky cleared it all, and now I just have a few creams I put on every day to maintain my new, clear complexion.   Dr. K really listened to my concerns and seemed to know a lot about the different kinds of chemical peels and lasers. She came up with a treatment plan for me using a combination of treatments that were specifically tailored to my skin. I highly recommend that anyone who wants flawless skin goes to see Dr. Kiripolsky.
