I broke my nose many years ago, and had a severely deviated septum that impeded breathing. After consulting with Dr. Le, I decided to have surgery to reconstruct my nasal septum and valve. The only potential drawback was a surgical procedure with general anesthetic, and the associated loss of time. The surgery took place 3 weeks ago, and the outcome is excellent.

Dr. Thomas Le is an outstanding doctor and a meticulous surgeon. He spent a tremendous amount of time in advance of the surgery evaluating the physical condition of my nose, and formulating a clear plan for the procedure. Once the plan was in place, he spent almost 2 hours with me to review the entire procedure and expectations, including potential negative outcomes. The procedure was performed at Northwest Hospital Center, and I found them to be very professional and careful. I asked to speak with the anesthesiologist who would be covering my case, and I found that discussion to be helpful. I am very sensitive to drugs, particularly narcotics, and I felt that it was important to emphasize this before the surgery. The procedure was scheduled for 4.5 hours, and it lasted for approximately that duration. Dr. Le had prepared me fully for the outcome, and saw me twice during the 3 weeks after surgery to remove the sutures and evaluate the healing. Although the swelling will continue to go down for many months, my breathing is now very much improved. I would recommend Dr. Le enthusiastically and without hesitation to anyone seeking surgical treatment for breathing problems.
