I've finally found the Dr. for me! I have a huge gallbladder scar. This scar was the main reason I waited so long. I NEEDED someone experienced and realistic on my potential results. Coming from the Bay Area, I have a wide range of choices . Am I nervous? Yes! I receive the comfort from so many before me. Thanks Realself!!

Let the count down begin! I have two beautiful daughters and have wanted a TT since my last baby was born in 1999. I have been very hesitant mainly becuz of my gall bladder scar. After having a total hysterectomy due to multiple fibroids, I started thinking more and more about it. I healed very well fom that surgery with minimal pain, so I'm not too worried about the pain. My hysterectomy surgery was abdominal as well. I didn't visit any surgeon that didn't want to attempt my TT because of the scar (old scar since 1997). I just didn't feel comfortable around many. I believe whole heartedly, that I have found that with my Dr. I haven't started buying any post op supplies, so I could use a some advice from everyone. Thanks for all your support going forward.....

I'm trying to not get too excited or overly anxious. 18 days to go...woohoo! I've been eating better, walking more and counting calories. My husband and kids are very excited for me and can't wait to see the results. My daughter will be graduating from Spelman College in Atlanta and says, she can't wait to see what I'll be wearing for the graduation in May. I can't wait to see what I'll be wearing either! Whatever it is, I won't look like Shamu!!!

Wow how times flies from my first post to now..I had my preop appt with Dr. Willams and the preop nurse. Next Friday is the biggggg day! Woohoo! I just have to get my supply list in order. So far I have the toilet seat riser, antibacterial soap, scar treatment strips, kelp-cote gel, gauze, vitamedica supplements and gauze tape. Did I miss anything?

Good evening ladies....well next week this time I should be home recovering! I am so excited and anxious. I have allowed work to keep me busy so I wouldn't keep thinking about it. Since the pre op appt. the other day, I can't help it! We are paid in full and full speed ahead!

Well the day went well. I'm really sleepy n a little sore but other wise great. My sister came to get me at 4:30 am and off we went. Surgery took 2 hrs 7 minutes. I haven't looked at scar but I will n post pics soon! Thanks for all the well wishes!

Good afternoon Ladies!! Well, the surgery was Friday morning and everything seemed to go as planned. I came down with a little congestion in my chest a few days prior and thought I would have to postpone. The morning of the surgery went pretty smooth, once I got the IV, that was all she wrote. I just remember the recovery room process. My tummy was and is still very sore and the pain is REAL! Please keep on top of your pain meds and it will be easier. I did have two drains but the Dr. removed one today and hopefully the next on Monday. I'm not taking the pain meds any more, I can get by with Tylenol extra strength. I'm very sore from the lipo but very pleased with the results so far. I am very happy my huge gallbladder scar is way lower next to my new BB. Most doctors would have been very apprehensive about pulling as much skin and fat from that high because of the scar. Not Dr Williams! He is a true artist, professional and gentleman! I will continue to post as there are changes. Happy Healing Realself Ladies!!

So far so good! The healing process is going well. I'm getting around much better. Still can't stand up straight, but that will come in time. The pain meds are very minimal (maybe 1x per day). I will be glad to have my last drain out on Monday. Dr. removed one this past Monday. I am very pleased with the way my tummy is coming along and the scar. My lipo areas are still wayyyyyy sore! Still very much worth it to get the desired look I was seeking. I will post more pics this weekend! Happy healing ladies! For all those up n coming, if you have questions, ask away!

Dr. appt today. Not sure if he'll take out this drain because I'm still draining abou 20-30cc per day. Strips are still on. They haven't come off in the shower like I hope. Will wait for Dr. Willams to check out the scar. Otherwise, just trying to heal properly. Will update after appt.

Sorry no updated pics yet. Still have 1 drain left. I've been draining 30-50 cc each day. Dr wants to wait thru weekend and so do I!! Otherwise pain is better no meds needed. Very happy with low scar. Itching has begun.

Hello Ladies!!! I posted a few new pics in my new CG. I am getting better each day. The other CG seemed to not fit as snug so I purchased a new one. It feels much better. Yes that is still a drain. MY PS doesn't want to remove it yet because still draining. We will do a phone consultation tomorrow and an appt on Monday. Maybe at that time it will be removed. Scar is looking good. Nice and low. Just needs to be smoothed out. I will post more pics on Monday. Happy Healing Ladies!!

Steri strips are finally falling off. Drainage appears to be minimal. Hopefully this drain will be out tomorrow at my appt. I'm standing up much straighter. At times I don't but is getting better. Still pleased with the progress.

My my, where did the time go? I'm doing well healing good. This was the first week back to work and I have no energy at the end of the day.. Each day it gets better, but I do find myself hunched over at the end of the day. My tummy is still swollen and my lipo areas are still very hard and lumpy, but they feel better than they did last week. Patience in this process for sure!

Helloooooo ladies! I'm coming up on 12 weeks. I am loving me some me! I'm eating right, exercising, still taking the Bromelain but most of all still wearing the garment. My garment was a 2xl now I'm in a medium. I still swell every day but minimal with the Bromelain and pineapples. I eat the every day by the container full . So glad to keep sharing .
