I am a 36 yr old mother of two (13 year old and 17 months) daughters. I was always a small girl before I had my first daughter. My skin on my stomach has never been the same. After my first pregnancy I wanted a tummy tuck, just wasn't done having kids. My second daughter I carried really low and my lower tummy is worse.

Now over 13 years later I am getting my tubes tied and a tummy tuck at the same time. I worked in surgery assisting the plastic surgeon who is preforming my tummy tuck so I am very confident of the results I will receive. I am having my second consult next week on the 1st and scheduling my surgery!!! I am so excited I have wanted this for years!! I just want my confidence back and to fit into my clothes better.

I just wanted to update I am 5'3" and currently 150 :( I have my second consult with my doctor today! I am super excited about that!! Hopefully I will get to schedule my surgery!!!!

Ok just paid my down payment to get my surgery scheduled. They have to coordinate with my gyn cause I'm getting my tubes tied as well. I should have my date of surgery soon!!! So excited this is happening!!!!!

Had surgery yesterday, everything went smoothly. Recovering in the hospital, got sick last night and was vomiting. That HURT so bad!!! Slept well last night, paying today goes better and I can go home this evening!

2 day PO Well Last night I slept ok. My butt got sore from sleeping in the same position. I have to figure out something. I was hurting real bad last night had to wake up and take some pain meds. Everything is ok if Im on my pain meds and muscle relaxers...Hopefully the worst is over. Everyone says after day three it gets really better. I will take some post pics soon (really swollen right now).

4 weeks PO: I started my silicone scar treatment today. I've heard allot of good things about the silicone treatment. Over all swelling has gone down allot, I still swell in the evening real bad depending on what I do during the day. Most of my swelling is between my ribs and belly button. I've lost 3.5 inches in my waist and I am down 5lbs since pre surgery!!!!!

I am super excited to see your results! My surgery is on 18 May and I am going through DPS as well. Dr. Walding is doing mine though, so hopefully it is a similar result :) We are same height and I weigh about 5lbs more than you did pre-surgery. I have lost 130lbs and cannot wait to have your stomach ;) Congratulations again!!! You look fantastic :)

Thank you!!! I just had a check up this week and he said I still have swelling in my upper abdomen. I can't wait to see my final results. I can't wait to see your results!!!

Looking good!! Swelling our biggest foe, I am ready to punch it in the face, LOL WOW I cant imagine how I will look when the swelling finally goes away!

I know, I have more swelling on my right side and above my belly button. I hope this is normal...

I know me too! My scar has been bandaged most of the time. Last week I ordered silicone sheeting and I can't wait to start treating it. Happy Healing!

Kin - so glad that you are doing so well. I have gotten a little depressed the last two days. I am very active and this being cooped up is for the birds. I am going to hopefully take a ride with my hubby in my new Vette tomorrow. Hopefully that will lift my mood. I am skipping church, nobody knows and I don't want any questions. Hard to hide those drains. Anyways sorry to vent but I need to start feeling normal again.

I understand what you mean. I am used to just doing what I want and it is hard just sitting around and having everyone else do it. I have been doing more than I should and it wears me out and I set so swollen and tired :( I hope you ride cheers you up!! It gets easier after the drains come out!!!

You are so lucky to be getting the drains out. I am 10 days post op and still have the dreadful drains. My doc won't remove them until each has less than 10cc and is of a yellow color. I am supposed to go back tomorrow. Based on what I am seeing, I am thinking they will only remove 1 drain. We'll see. Your tummy looks awesome.

My doctor is awesome. I have been blest with a good group of people who have been taking good care of me. Did either your drains leak at the site where they go into your body.

oh yeah they leaked, and the sites leaked yesterday after they pulled them out. they left mine open to drain, they said they will close on their own.

Well hell, now I am really jealous! I should take a pic of my binder. It really is such a pain in the ass!!! I can't believe you got flowers! Not only did no one send me flowers, but only my best friend and a neighbor has come to see me! Not one person in my family!

My doctor gave me two garments along with a special bra. When I arrived home today I had flowers on my front porch. They were from my PS and his group. I thought that was just sweet! I have never heard of a doctor doing that.

Did your doc give you that garment? Mine is awful! It velcros and its terrible! It hurts my ribs and my hips! Yours looks awesome!
