I am posting my 2wk and 3wk post op pics...
I haven't been here in a while.. Life has just been happening.... I would like to give a special shoutout to bbeautiful2. You have been so helpful!! I cannot thank you enough!!


I will have to say that this has been a..hmm.. I don't even know what word to use. Maybe "journey" would suit.
Yes, this has been a journey..lol.. The surgery is one thing, but recovery is a whole different ball game.
I went to a lingere store in my town to find a compression garment since my faja didn't fit. I brought my faja to show them that I wanted something with similar compression. I showed the owner my faja and she didn't have anything in the store with that much compression, but she told me she could order it in for me.
So, we were looking through her magazines and I realized that one of the compression garments said that were made by the same company said that 2x would fit a 47 inch hips. So I started to question why my faja wasn't fitting and it's a 4x????? And my hips are or was 47 inches????? So the owner took my faja from me and she said "let's go to the fitting room."
I was like "ummm, my husband tried to put the faja on me and it wouldn't fit" she said "come on, come on."
I was thinking "oh brother this lady is NOT going to get this faja on me. Why can't she just listen!!"
My mother told me not to be rude to your elders, so I went into the dressing room with the lady and she was like "put the garment on."
I attempted to tell her AGAIN that my husband is a man and he couldnt get it on me but she was not trying to hear it. OMG!! So now I have the faja on ( not even half way cuz it just wouldn't go up). Then the owner tells me "it's not on yet" and I was like " I know. I told you it doesn't fit"
So she told me that I had to pull up the legs like some really tight stockings. So I did that and it went up. OK. All this time I am thinking "she cannot get it on"
Well ladies, she told me to brace myself and she fastened the hooks!! All I had to do was bring the hooks at least halfway to closing and she did the rest! I couldn't believe it. She looked at me and said "I do this for a living" and just walked out the dressing room. I had to pick my bottom lip off the floor. I stood in front of the mirror for a good 5 minutes in awe. She told me I had to buy a bra jokingly, but I did anyway, cuz she saved me $100+ on a garment that I would not have to buy.

The itching that I was having a couple of weeks ago was not normal according to Dr.Perry and I had to take the garment off for a couple of days because we were thinking I might be allergic to it or may have been the detergent i was using to wash the garment. i was taking benadrl for the itching and that was barely helping. This is around the same time my faja was put on me, so it worked out. I didn't have to wear the garment I was allergic to. I just wore the faja.

I am still getting messages every other day. They are relaxing, helping me rid my body of toxins and also helping with the swelling.

The pain is pretty much a 0. I wear a squeem over my faja and I also wear biodermis foam under the faja. I am surprised at how much my skin has retracted. My stomach was hanging over my vagina before surgery and now it isn't. Thanks Dr. Perry!!!!
I am not sure if I updated on everything that has happened in the past couple of weeks. If I remember anything, I'll post again. Feel free to ask any questions.
