Brazilian Butt Lift: Stories

I am opting for surgery as I have always been unhappy with my shape. Having a Apple Body Type is sometime difficult. I Have boobs for days but no booty to be found and with my upper half being larger than the bottom, it makes it hard to shop and dress like I want. And being that i am an African American Woman who comes from a mother with the shape of a Goddess, its quite itimidating...lol.

I have been considering Lipo for about 15 yrs. At first it was unthinkable as I didnt have the money needed to have such procedures, and being the single mom of ambitious daughters, my money was pretty much the property of institutions of higher learning. So when the option came available for medical tourism, I jump at the chance after watching a family member and a few others leave and come back with stripper bodies, or semi sexy models I was all in.

I hope to minimize my upper torso with lipo creating a little waist, and moderate hips, and using the fat I never needed up top to give me the Tush of my dreams, No fun being Flat in the Back...lol.

I feeling a little anxious right now and since I am traveling alone a little nervous, But its true what they say about New Yorkers if we can make it there we can make it anywhere. Hence the reason I now live on the Outer Banks of North Carolina in a small beach town.

I have been picking up some really good tips on travel and Do's and Dont's Before and after surgery, As well as products to aid in my recovery. I'm currently four months from my surgery date, so Im in preparation and research mode.

Started the first goal towards preparing for my surgery...I had to quit smoking . I went to on e of the welplex stop smoking centers so far I am 2 days smoke free. agfter smoking for 28 years I know itsnot gonna be easy. But its something I have todo before my SX. I am thinking of using an electronic cigarette, with no nicotine of course. Just dont know if that is harmful as well.===2 days smoke free

Still researching and preparing for my SX. Joined a Great group of ladie on facebook. We are sort of a private facebook sx team, Called Team DR/Columbia. They have given me an abundance of information, and fellowship as well. We are all excited. Me Im just worried that I wont have my affairs in order by the time my sx date comes up. either way Im having my sx done in May rain or shine. I have written Yily back to inquire about getting my breast lifted too. No response yet I hope whe will soon..Ive taken my passport picture I will probably get my passport sent off soon.

Well Im now at 90 days Preop. Very busy trying to research healing aids, and any advice for a speedy recovery, as well as things I need to pack. So far I have bought bromelain, Arnica Gel, Arnica Montana pellets, and all the supplements that I am to began taking 30 days prior to surgury. I believe I am going to to go the SinEcch surgery pak which you are supposed to start taking 3 days before surgury. I joined a great support group called Heavenly Bodies, the ladies on there are very supportive of each other and tremendous source of SX knowledge and advice. They are also Crazy Cool, and sometime cool and crazy....lol. I like them because negativity, and disrepect is not allowed, which make it pleasant because women can be catty at times. But they are great to just talk to as I am a person who has many around them that feel I am crazy and disgusting for even considering doing this. And sometimes belittle me because of it. I am also feeling a little anxious because many people are using their tax returns to get this done. Since I am a person that has to use write offs in order to not owe taxes. My tax return funds are low or non existant, which means this whole thing is coming out of my pocket. Sounds like I should have alot of money huh?...Not....lol....Will post again in 30 days....BTW...I am off cigarettes...I went to and E cig which I am slowly decreasing my nicotine intake and by may I plan to be nicotine free.

Still doing my research on my doctor, Im even looking at Dr Duran. Having second thoughts about the breastlift, since ive been advised that it is dangerous to have front and back procedures done at the same time. Meanwhile, I have purchased my Chux, personal, and femine wipes, Bolster pillow, go girl funnel, comprifoam, and colloidal silver, and surgical Sinecch and my Post SX loose clothing. I am purchasing my plane tickets tomorrow. I still need to send for my passport. I plan to get post surgical meds from my doctor. Hopefully I will be all set to go by the end of April.

Just a quick update, No longer a member of Heavenly Bodies, I took myself out of the group, discouraging information was starting to be presented and I didnt see where it was going to help as it was just a bunch of gossip that was being posted on MMH. I asked to be put back in as the ladies really are cool, and I wanted to share their joy after SX, and share mine as well. But they said they had to talk and see if they wanted to let me back in. With that being said, I have never been nothing but positive, and supportive while participating in any group. And the fact that I am 42, not 14, I decided to just pass on it. I am however a part of Team Yily on Ning and Have found me a buddy for DR while participating in their forum. As for my preparation for surgery. I Just purchased a Accufitness Body tape Measure, 2 pairs of open toe Anti Emobolism, and 2 pair of closed toe Anti Embolism stockings, Robe, Slippers, Boppy Travel Pillow, Hibiclens anitimicrobial antiseptic cleanser liquid, Soft Cloth Surgical Tape, Sterile Gauze, Benadryl Extra Strength Itch Relief Spray, Bacitracin First Aid Ointment, and Femine wipes...Things are coming along nicely, and I think Im doing really well, since I am doing this out of pocket. Most people were lucky enough to have their tax returns to supplement the cost of their surgeries, thats all I have for now

Some members of my group had their surgeries last week and look amazing, one even posted a video, which make me really comfortable with my Dr selection....Things are coming along nicely, and I think Im doing really well so far....All I have left is on the more expensive side Tickets, cost of surgery...whew I hope I can get this all done my May 1st.
