Mommy Makeover: Stories

Hello ladies this will be my first time ever getting surgery on my body. I will be getting a full tummy tuck, lipo, breast lift and a BBL.I will be doing all of these procedures within the 2wks that I will be there. I will be going with 5 ladies that I know and trust and believe we are all excited and nerves at the same time. I am a mother of 5 beautiful kids. I am 5'1, 135lbs and I am ready to have a make over. I have a nice body now but I must say after my last child who is 2 1/2 now he took my breast away and gave me that saggy skin in certain areas on my body.

Ok ladies it's 25 days until my surgery and I'm getting more and more nerves and excited... I am more then ready to see my new body and get this all over with. I have every thing I need I have been taking my vitamins and I have quit smoking witch was hard but job done since I know my life is a risk.. I am so great full to be having some great woman attending this journey with me as well. I have put up some before pictures of me witch I am not so happy about but with god on my side and faith in Dr. Yily this will all be taking care of...

Gd morning ladies and crunch time has come. I have 21 days until my flight to DR and my nerves are getting to me. I went to my doctor and did all my routine checks and am ready to get this pain over with. I have faith but I know there will be much pain and discomfort. I have been taking my vitamins every morning. I just am very excited to actually go through this life changing event. I will update you ladies on my progress enjoy your day..

16 more days and I'm on my way to Dominican Republic to have my surgery... I must say this is very hard for me because I'm use to smoking and eating what I want and now I'm restricted. I'm an emotional reck but I know it's for my health so I'm holding strong. I just want this all to be over with so I can move on with my life... I'm so nervous but yet so excited to be blessed to be able to have this done to me so I'm great full and so ready!!! The count down is so close...

Ladies in 10 days I will be getting on that plane to Dominican Republic!!! I must say I'm getting nervous but then again I have been calm as well.. I just pray that everything goes swell and god be by my side. I have everything I need and more just to be on the safe side. I have brought all of my own things you can never have to much when your having surgery.. Ladies these surgeries ain't no joke so prepare yourself because you want your body to heal with great result... It's been 3 wks tomorrow I have quit smoking it was very hard cold turkey but I know my reason why... So gd luck to all the April dolls!! Be well and a speedy recovery god bless.

Gd day ladies 6 days in counting omg this is truly happening so quickly. This will be the last few days in my body. Once I get my new tune up lol no one can tell me nothing. I'm ready to go and start this adventure of mommy make over..

Ok dolls I can't sleep it's 2:30 am and I'm wide awake smh.... I leave tomorrow morning but I'm feeling great.. Today makes 1 month smoke free still hard but job completed... I'm very excited cant wait to land and see the beautiful land Dominican Republic has in store for us... I brought my own items like chucks, dial soap, tooth brush, tooth paste, rags, towels, antibiotic, pain killers, vitamin E oil, all my vitamins, naked vegetable juice, arnica, compression stockings, sheets, blanket,slippers, open night gowns, tank tops, dresses, boppy pillow, full length body pillow, halls, mouth wash,water bottle, and garment.. I packed so I won't need anything over there.. I purchased a second garment so I can wear and wash with out a mess... So ladies I will update later on... Have a great day....

Hay yily dolls I'm in DR arrive on time and arrived safely to our condo. First off let me say I'm 5 days post op and I feel great I been up since my first few hours after surgery. Everything looks great at this point even through my swollen body.. My breast are down to a B cup and my hips and stomach look great. My stomach looks gd as well I had lipo but didn't need much. I met yily she is very pretty in person only thing is she does not speak much English. Her assistant yira is nice but you must tell them what you want. Yily has gd knowledge of how much you need but if you want something speak up. The wait is long due to all the testing they make you do. I took all my testing in New York but the still wanted some of the test done over. It is a gd idea to take your test at home and bring the paper work with you to show yily your results. Yily did not start on time it was busy all day I got there 7am and didn't have my surgery until 8:30pm because there was other ppl before me and she do not go in order. I actually go to my first appt tomorrow morning with yily. I will be here until Monday the 22nd. Bring your own garment because the garment they give at CPLA is small and it makes your body swell and keep fluid in your body. I brought my own and I am so happy I brought all my own supplies because they don't supply you with anything in the hospital. Remember ladies I did not stay at the recovery house but your first two days is at the hospital. Make sure you walk with enough money pesos and American money. I used more of my pesos then American but bring both and don't change your money at the air port they get you. They got my friends I exchanged at my bank.

I did not see yily before I left because she was sick and she wasn't there so I will not relate her bedside manners. Now her assistant doctors came and checked on me and they we're nice. Not everyone speaks English very few they all spoke Spanish and I must say some of the staff had nasty attitudes I had to get a lil nasty because they think they can treat you any way they want due to the fact that you don't speak Spanish. I had one nurse named Maria she was the best she didn't speak English but she took very gd care of me on her shift after my surgery I tipped her for be so helpful to me. Ladies you must pay for the massages you truly need them they make a big difference in recovery. I am actually healing faster then a lot of the ladies that came with me . I can do most things on my own. The mornings is a little rough due to your body being stiff but other then that this surgery worked out for me easier then I expected.

Today I'm 10 days post op and I feel great. I went to CPLA today to get my drain taking out. That crap feel like a snake coming out your body lol but I'm happy it's all over. I leave on Monday and I can't wait to get home to my babies. I miss them so much I never been away from them this long. I have to be honest I didn't care to see Yily for a fare well I saw her assistant I was just ready to go because she take to long to come to the center. I only saw her the first day and that was by choice I don't have time to wait all day to be seen. Not my thing I like to be in and out... I went to Coco Playa, the Mega mall, got my hair done,my nails and feet done. I did not allow this surgery to take my phone I been up and out since day 1 I had a motive to get well and get going..

Hello Yily dolls I am now 20 days post op ad I have to say I feel great and look amazing. I am still in my healing but so far so good ladies. I have posted two new pictures and I must say what a big difference. I am actually happy I chose Yily and I wouldn't have changed my mind.. I would love to see some of the ladies who have finished their surgery post some before and after pics. I didn't care who liked or didn't like my pics I'm confident in myself and what I have done. So ladies give me some feed back I would love to see what you ladies have to say.
