Okay, so I've been thinking about getting this procedure for years. I've been researching for a little over a year now but yesterday was the first time that I decided I'm really going to do it no hesitation (well minimal hesitation). I emailed a few people to get quotes but I am really hoping for Dr. Yily De Los Santos to be the one. My focus is more on the hour glass figure and she seems to do really well with that. Of course I want a DONK though lol. Im aiming for sometime in April but we'll see cause she seems to be filling up fast. I am 63.5 inches tall and 150 lbs. Just hoping she responds to my email quickly. I wrote her last night in English and then I read she responds quicker in Spanish so I had to go back and translate it. I am married with 2 kids and I know my husband is excited but then again hes an "ass" man lol.

So I'm still waiting to here from Dr. Yily :/ Does anybody know if she does surgeries on Fridays? Im really wanting to see if May 24th is available because I just found out I'll be going to school for two months starting in March.

Tried calling Yira today so I could leave a message but her mailbox is full...im too impatient for this lol. Been doing a lot of research on everything I will need to take with me and what I need to buy over there. A little confused on the whole process but hopefully it will go smoothly. I'm thinking after everything is said and done it will end up costing around the $5000 price range. And I am including EVERYTHING that I wouldnt normally buy down to the travel size deodorant.

Not much to update on since I'm still waiting for a response 2 wks later. Think I'll try calling a couple more times today.

Finally got my email and I got so excited I couldn't read straight. I'm trying to get a slot that just opened up but no luck with calling since no one is answering and all of the voicemails are full so I can't leave a message.

I have the Implanon birth control in my arm. I'm not getting arm lipo but does anyone know if that would be an issue for surgery? Will I need to get it removed first?

Really wanting to get ahold of her to ask about my birth control but no hope!! What number should I be calling??

So in all my panic to ask a question to Dr Yily it never occurred to me that I can just ask a doctor in the US and it would be much simpler lol. I can't sleep I'm so excited I'm really gonna do this. I don't even have a date locked in yet but I still feel like its coming soon. Not sure I'm going to buy the vitamedica kit, figured the doctor would recommend it if it was really that great. And I took my pictures down for now. Think I'm just going to post them together with my post op pics whenever that happens.

Also does anybody know if I can use Tricare for the medicine or massages afterwards? Gonna call to find out tomorrow morning but figure I'd ask anyone who has experience with that.

I got ahold of Teresa this morning and was told May 22nd is available and I'll be the 1st patient that day. Tried to see about a sooner date but her English wasnt good enough to understand what I was trying to say. Already bought my ticket using JetBlue who I think by far has the best rates. I've flown with them a few times and never had any issues. $400 round trip which is really good considering I wanted an ASAP date for surgery and tickets would have been over $700. Im happy with my date. Gives me time to really do what I need to do especially since I've decided to take out my birth control in my arm and I will be EXTRA careful I dont get any "oops" as someone said lol. I also decided to add arm lipo to my surgery so my quote is for that included. For those still waiting on some a response for a quote this is what I was sent:

The price for fat grafting to buttock/BBL and liposuction of abdomen, armpit, back, flanks, waist is 3200$USD. Dose of medication

-HEPARIN 40 MG: Subcutaneous injection 1 per day for 8 days.
-CLAVULIN 1GR: Take 1 every 24 hours for 10 days.
-DICLOFENAC 50MG: Take 2 tablets together the first 3 days every 6 hours, then at 4th day take 1 every 8 hours for 10 days.
-OMEPRAZOL 20 MG: Take 1 every 12 hours for 10 days.
-VITAMIN C 500 MG: Take 1 tablet every 12 hours for a month.
-FERROUS SULFATE: Take 1 tablet every 12 hours for 30 days.
-FOLIC ACID 10 MG: Take 2 tablets per day for 15 days.
-THROMBOCID CREAM: Apply on the operated area 2 times a day for 10 days.

I read somewhere that if you do the massages with Jacqueline then they are only $25. Dont quote me on that though because I didnt hear it directly from Yilys team or Jacqueline. Same for the quote I got cause her prices may go up or down for whatever reason. Still deciding against too many extras like the vitamedica kit. And I wont be buying an extra garment until after surgery. Just doesnt make any sense since I dont know what size I will need. Hopefully 2xs lol but we'll see. Going to go ahead and order the epi foam and boards. Petitemami had some good information on ordering those so i'm gonna go through the websites she suggested.

I called that number all afternoon yesterday with no luck but apparently mornings is a good time to call cause I called this morning and it was a quick answer and they spoke English (somewhat). I even lost signal and called back after a couple of minutes and Teresa still answered right away. I sent my deposit before I called to get my date because I wanted to make sure it was locked in but you can do it after just make sure you call them and let them know it was sent.

I plan to stay at the Jacqueline Spa from the 23rd-28th and I need a buddy so it can be cheaper. Does anybody know if Dr Yily is still doing discounts for surgery same day? I dont think she is but if anybody is on the 22nd also then let me know and ill call and check.

I never realized how frustrating this whole process would be. Just received an email saying that they have me down for the 24th???? Just this morning I was told the 22nd. Ima have to talk to Dr Yily cause with all this money she is making I think it would be very wise to invest in an English as a primary language staff member. Im sure the majority of her clients are US based. I could be wrong but Im frustrated so I think I'm not lol. Ughhhh well I hope she responds soon since the number Ive been calling is going straight to voicemail right now.

For those who book with JetBlue they have a feature where you can be refunded for your flights without penalties or fees if you cancel within 24hrs of original booking. Luckily I got this email so quick possibly changing my surgery date.

My OCD is getting to me lol. I LOVE to make lists of everything I need to do or need to get still. Im making a list of stuff I got/am getting for the surgery for those who are still unsure of where to start like I was. It is nowhere near complete so I wont post until complete but I added a screenshot so you'd have an idea.

My husband wants to know how long until we can be intimate after surgery. I think I read somewhere on here that its 4 weeks but I can't remember. Anyone have Yily tell them a specific time frame?

I'm really not too big on going out of the country by myself. I prefer to go, get it done, and come home. I'm thinking 4 days post op Im gonna fly back...

I'm getting to DR at 3am the day of my surgery, does anybody know if I can go straight to the CIPLA? Not really tryna waste money on a hotel for 3 hrs.

So my husband just informed me he has plans for me and my new ass lol. He wants to get me a motorcylce. Apparently big booty motorcycle ridin females are sexy lol. My husband is crazy but gotta love him..

Went to the doctor to see if they'll do the tests and give me the meds without me having to pay for it. When I first got called back by the nurse to take my vitals I told her why I was there and what I was getting and she went crazy askin me all kinds of questions lol. She wanted all the info I could give her so she could do it too. My doctor was a different story though. I told her I was doing a BBL and her mouth dropped and she asked what it was. She was shocked when I told her, she didn't even know a procedure like that even existed lol. She took a copy of my email and is gonna find out about the medicine but all the test are gonna be scheduled for next week. One bad thing though...I have the implanon birth control in my arm that needs to be taken out at least two weeks prior to my surgery that is in 35 days. The doctor told me surgery is backed up a month out!!! Idk what I'm gonna do but she put a note in saying I need this out ASAP so I guess we'll see when they call me to tell me when my appt is. Crossing fingers!!!

I switched dates with someone and yes I already called to verify but it was right after the other person called to switch the date to my name. Which to me only means that Yira remembers that she needed to switch me to that date, not necessarily that she did it smh.

So I have my list on an Excel document so if you'd like to see it just message me your email and I'll send it to you. Feel free to change it to fit your needs!! It has the formulas already uploaded into it so if you change anything it will automatically tell you how much you still need to spend and what the total is going to be overall. Of course I'm going to update it once I get back letting you know what I used and wish I would have taken. It's doubling as a list of supplies needed for surgery AND a packing list so thats why theres so much lol.

I have been trying to get ahold of Yira or Teresa ALL morning and nothing. Someone finally got ahold of them and were told to call back after an hour and then when she called back and asked about me they said they had me down for the 17th of April!!!! I'm suppose to be the 16th!!!! One day might not sound like a big deal but it is a HUGE deal to me so much so I might just have to walk away.....

The person whom I originally traded dates with emailed Dr Yily about my date being wrong and she responded right away. Yily then emailed me to confirm everything and now I'm back to the 16th. So glad this was taken care of so quickly since we all know how she is with responding to emails.

I like to update everyone on my problems so it makes them feel better about their situations lol. So the BnB we were gonna say at no longer offers a nurse for aftercare but only for massages so we have to stay somewhere else the first couple of days. The hotel that was the other option hasnt responded to me about aftercare since Monday so idk whats going on with that. I refuse to stay at the RH who seems to be worse than Yily when it comes to booking. Also the RH sounds like a huge waste of money since they arent actually nurses and im not tryna eat the same thing EVERY day. My husband wants me to stay at the CIPLA which seems to be our only option anyways. I guess I should find out how they handle their prices. I can do $50 a night if we can split the $100 it said but we'll see. Ughhh this is what you get when you wanna travel to an unknown country just for a phat ass lol.

Still working on finding a place to stay PostOp but looking like its not gonna be a big issue. I'll stay in Dr Yilys office the whole time if I have to lol.

This is not because of Dr Yily or the hotel or anything but I think I want to cancel my surgery because of my husband. My husband told his mother about the surgery even though I asked him not to. He's coming with me so the plan was to just tell her we were going on a minivacation before he goes to training for 6 months. I got sooo angry when I heard them talking about it I went off on him and told him I didn't want him there anymore and now I'm thinking of not going all together. He has a BIG family of judgmental no way in heck can keep a secret type people. I know they would be able to tell when I got back but it would've been when I was ready. People are less judgement all afterwards when they can see the results. It just kinda hurt me that he did that and then told me oh well you weren't gonna be fooling nobody anyways smh. Ughh men, why can't they just understand!

OLD POST: I LOVE sweet tea and dr pepper but I want my body to be in the best shape possible for surgery. I decided to stop caffeine intake and fatty foods 30 days out. It's gonna be hard but worth it lol. I'm drinking my last large sweet tea as I type :-) also gonna be starting a few of my medications tomorrow.

Couple different things happened today that made me move my date but I know it is for the best. I am giving up my April 16th slot and switching to October. Call Yira if you want it ASAP it might already be gone. I'm still going with Dr. Yily so I'm not selling the spot. One of the good benefits of being lazy/procrastinating is that I didnt start my meds yet. I did already get all my test done at my doctors so I can at least see where I stand. I'm sad....I already had a couple buddies I was going with or at least was excited to see there if they were gonna be my direct roommate. I still wish them and everyone else lots of luck, love, and prayers. Will update when the time gets closer. Good luck and God bless!
