I have had four children and weight gain. Lots of loose skin and damaged ab muscles, stretch marks too. Lovely, huh? It's bothered me for years. I'm 43 now and feel like it's just time. Any words of encouragement will be helpful! I have the BEST doctor ever and can't wait!

March 16th is just around the corner! Be strong sister cause you are going to be FIERCE after! You have four kids honey so you can do anything! You will do fine! Can't wait to hear all about it! My consult is next week and hopefully surgery is April. Sooooo jealous you are getting yours over with! Are you all prepared?

Thanks so much! I'm pretty nervous but tomorrow is the day! I can't wait! I'm as prepared as I can be, I think. I'm staying overnight in the hospital so considering that a great thing. I'll remember what I don't have in the hospital. :) Wish me luck!

Good luck! You will be so happy! I cannot believe this is my tummy now, at almost 41! I am 11 months post op & so happy. Recovery is long and at times difficult, but so worth it in the end. Keep us updated!

Thank you so much. I'm terrified of waking up with pain, but I know it is very short term compared with even a couple of weeks from now! Thanks so much and I"ll write to all in a couple of days!

Hi Everyone! I am five days post op and couldn't...
Hi Everyone! I am five days post op and couldn't be happier that I did this! The procedure went very smoothly and my PS took off 8 pounds from my tummy! WOO HOO! I am overweight to begin with, but even with being pretty over weight I could see an immediate improvement!
Couple of things.... I came down with bronchitis about one week before my TT. I was able to get rid of most of it with antibiotics before the day of the surgery I let both the PS and Anesthesiologist know ahead of time so they could reschedule if they felt that was the way to go. We went ahead and did the surgery and I am still walking around with an oxygen tank until all the bronchitis is gone. I swear, the pain isn't that bad. Feels like sore, tight muscles or maybe a small burn. I can't explain it. Would I do it again? HECK YES!!! I'm so excited for each of you on your journey~
