I have had four children and weight gain. Lots of loose skin and damaged ab muscles, stretch marks too. Lovely, huh? It's bothered me for years. I'm 43 now and feel like it's just time. Any words of encouragement will be helpful! I have the BEST doctor ever and can't wait!

Couple of things.... I came down with bronchitis about one week before my TT. I was able to get rid of most of it with antibiotics before the day of the surgery I let both the PS and Anesthesiologist know ahead of time so they could reschedule if they felt that was the way to go. We went ahead and did the surgery and I am still walking around with an oxygen tank until all the bronchitis is gone. I swear, the pain isn't that bad. Feels like sore, tight muscles or maybe a small burn. I can't explain it. Would I do it again? HECK YES!!! I'm so excited for each of you on your journey~
xoxo,
Steph

I went to see my amazing PS today to have my bandages changed etc. I finally saw my new belly button! YAY! I haven't had a normal belly button in 26 years! My tummy is still really swollen at the top and he said I am going to lose so much of that and be much thinner when the swelling goes down. I cannot believe I'm come this far in a week. I still have drains in. I told him I'd rather them stay in two weeks than come out early. I bet they come out mid next week. The drainage is perfect color and my scars are healing really well. He showed me a couple of areas that had started healing and that the entire scar was going to be very thin. So happy about that. I took my CG off today and washed it. It was the longest I'd had it off since the surgery and I have to say I felt it. It's like super overexhausted ab muscles or something. I did take some pain meds.
Now, I am just wishing I had a bit more energy. The antibiotics and oxgen, etc., are making me very tired. But everynight, I go to bed with a smile on my face knowing that I finally did it! I am so happy. I am here cheering all of you on as well! xoxo
