I first tried a series of 8 treatments on my stomach in the winter of 2013. I lost 5.3 inches and 11lbs. I was feeling wonderful! It encouraged me to start drinking more water and exercising. Then, almost 6 months later, I stepped on the scale and noticed I was gaining weight. What was going on?! For the next six months, I continued to gain weight despite my desperate attempts to keep it off. I gained back a total of 17lbs and 10 inches.

The medical explanation from my doctor was... our bodies love our fat cells. They try to repair them. These types of treatments will flatten the fat cells so they release fat. The fat then floats around waiting to be reabsorbed. YOUR LYMPHATIC SYSTEM WILL NOT REMOVE ENOUGH FAT TO MAKE THIS PROCESS A LONG-TERM SUCCESS! Our lymphatic system isn't designed that way. Matter of fact, we lose weight through aspiration not lymph nodes. Lymph nodes are meant to gather and hold infections and kill them and remove toxins from the body... NOT TO HELP YOU GET RID OF FAT! So, while this fat is freely floating around your body, your body is repairing the fat cells and filling them with NEW FAT! Then, after a certain period of time, the old floating fat is ALSO reabsorbed; which explains why I gained more than I lost eventually.

That's not even the worst part... I decided to give Venus Freeze a second go-around. My doctor advised against it.

Now, here's the scary part...

January 2015 I did ONE session. ONE. Right away, I started not "feeling right". I wasn't sick prior other than my normal allergies. I'm not normally a sick person AT ALL. My lymph nodes in my groin area were very uncomfortable. I didn't have enough energy to walk that night. I was depleted of energy for a couple days - something I never experienced with the first session a year prior. I immediately cancelled the remaining 7 sessions until I could figure it out.

For the last 6+ weeks I have been experiencing a multitude of UNEXPLAINED health issues. I am not saying that the venus Freeze caused them because I don't have proof. However, I am 34 and I know my body. I was not a sick person... but now I am. Here's what all I am suffering from now:
Daily dull headaches - sometimes grow more severe
Pain in my lymph nodes - mostly groin and neck
Unexplained muscle twitching on the treatment site (my entire abdomen)
GERD - heartburn and severe indigestion (feels like I need to burp but can't and it hurts)
tightness in my back opposite the treatment area
Fissures (if I am not careful washing or cleaning areas of the body w/ mucous membranes, they tear)
I've also developed a Lipoma (fatty tumor) on my upper thigh
Other lymph nodes that have NEVER bothered me ache occasionally (especially behind my knees)
Extreme fatigue

I am monitoring everything with my doctor and hoping they will go away since it has been only 6 weeks. I am scared that for a "quick fix" I may have severely hurt myself.

Please read and re-read my doc's explanation. I know we're all looking for these quick fixes because we want SO BAD to lose a few pounds. If there is even a ONE PERCENT CHANCE you could experience the side effects I am, DO NOT DO IT! I wish I could go back. My doctor tells me he is convinced that treatment has done SOMETHING we're just not sure what. I would keep my love handles FOREVER if I could just get these things to GO AWAY! Disappointed that after a failed first series I even went back.

I would rather not say. The people that did the treatments are great... I have to give all 1 stars due to the multitude of side effects I am experiencing!
